Home description
A large 4 bedroom detached swiss style private villa, with traditional turkish features. With private pool, set in established garden. Situated within Ovacik and nestled between surrounding mountains, it is a peaceful location with lovely views, but within easy reach of nearby Hisaronu town. Olu Deniz Beach and the Blue Lagoon, are only a short dolmus (bus) journey away. The first floor comprising of 1 double room with en suite, a second double bedroom, a twin room, and a family bathroom. All bedrooms are air conditioned and access to the balcony from the master bedroom. The ground floor comprises of the lounge area with sofas (one of which is a sofabed), and the fourth bedroom which also has air conditioning. There is a large open log fire, if you choose for a winter break. The basement houses a large fitted kitchen. For larger groups we have an alternative villa within the area, and friend whos villa nearby. Cleaner once a week including linen and towel change.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Ovacik is situated on south-west coast of Turkey. The town is positioned between Fethiye and Hisaronu. The beach and lagoon at Olu Deniz are a short dolmus (bus) journey away. The weather between July and August is very hot, however Ovacik is nestled within the valley of the mountains, providing that well needed mountain breeze.
Hisaronu / Ovacik area
Local places to visit: Fethiye - This is the local main town. The large Bazaar (market) is held every Tuesday, with everything from fruit to designer clothes available. There is a harbourside and marina, with bars and restaurants alongside. The Fish Market is everyday, and is situated behind the main harbour road. There you can choose your fish/seafood and the nearby restaurants will cook it for you.
Hisaronu - this is a lively town and within walking distance from the villa in Ovacik. It is abundant in shops, bars and restaurants, well equipped for good days and nights out!
Kaya Koy - Also known as Ghost Town - This is an ancient historical area where once the greeks resided until leaving Turkey. Now, however still unihabited, it provides an enjoyable and interesting location to visit.
Olu Deniz - This is the beachside town, which houses the famous Blue lagoon. The lovely sandy beach is found at the foot of the mountain, and continues along a long stretch, to the lagoon area. There are plenty of activities for the more energetic (watersports etc), but for those who wish to relax, there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols to enjoy a lazy day. The lagoon is very beautiful, and provide 'pond like' waters, to enjoy a cool down swim in the hot sun.

Further details indoors: There is a TV, DVD player, and satellite in the lounge area. The satelitte is Turkish but does have 4 English channels, and the dvd does play various copies. The stereo is also in the lounge area for use with your own discs etc, and has internal and external speakers for outside use. It also has jack for MP3 or iPod. There is also wi-fi internet connection facility, to keep in touch (network key available upon booking). An intruder alarm is also installed.There is a garden sprinkler system, which has been programmed to come on at approx 5am, so what out all you club goers on your way in in the morning!!!!
Further details outdoors: Sunbeds, parasol, patio tables and chairs are provided for around the pool, and the terraced areas. These can be positioned around the villa as use require. There is a BBQ provided for "al fresco" dining. Security CCTV installed to external areasonly. Many fruit trees available for the picking (depending on season). External security CCTV (entrances only).
Further details
A 25% deposit is required with your booking form. There is also a £100.00 refundable breakages security deposit required. The remaining balance of 75% is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. The breakages deposit is refunded back to you approx 2 weeks after vacting the property, inspection and key return. We do not specify a changeover time, as we try our utmost to incorporate this within your flight times, as agreed. Full terms and conditions are provided with the booking form.
