About the home

The villa is situated in the village of Ovacik, between Fethiye and Hisaronu, and nestled between the beautiful surrounding mountains. A peaceful location with lovely views, and ideally positioned within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars in Ovacik . The nearby Hisaronu Town a short walk away and Olu Deniz Beach and the beautiful Blue Lagoon, are only a short dolmus (bus) journey away. Ideal for all types of holidays from those just seaking the sun and relaxing by the pool, or venturing to the beach. Or for those more adventurous there are numerous sightseeing tours, and exciting activities from off road jeef safaris to parasending, all available from Hisaronu and Olu Deniz.
The villa itseld is situated over 3 floors, comprising of Lounge/Dining Room, one bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The Kitchen is in the lower basement area, and the remaining 3 bedrooms, 1bathroom, and 1 en suite to the first floor. Lovely large pool and poolside terraces, and balcony from the first floor master bedroom overlooking the mountain.
If your holiday party is larger than 14 people, we have alternative accomodation (please see foot of page), where we can accomodate families seperately in villas alongside each other. Available also within the Ovacik area, and the Calis Beach area.
All the villas are air conditioned, and the pools and gardens are maintained daily, and cleaning once a week (including linen and towel changes).

Lounge Area
There is a 32" Flat Screen TV, DVD player, satellite system, and Wii game system. The satelitte system has both English and Turkish channels, and the DVD does play various copies. There are various DVD films provided, some Wii games and reading books.
Wifi/Internet connection throughout the villa (network key available upon booking), to keep in touch.The stereo features CD, Radio, jack for MP3/ipod, internal and external speakers for outside use.
2 sofas (both sofabeds) and 2 armchairs. Large Ceiling fan (3 speed). Large turkish style open fireplace.
Dining room table and 8 chairs. Door leading to poolside area.

Bedrooms
4 Bedrooms throught the property. 3 bedrooms on the first floor, and one on the ground floor. 3 Bathrooms, comprising of 2 family bathrooms (one on first floor and one on ground floor), and 1 ensuite to master bedroom.
Master bedroom comprising of 1 double bed, 2 bedside cabinets and 2 double wardrobes and 1 chest of drawers. Air conditioning. En suite bathroom with shower, with small side balcony. Door to front balcony overlooking the pool, terrace and Ovacik mountain area.
Second bedroom comprising of 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 2 bedside cabinets, 1 double wardrobe, 1 chest of drawers and 1 travel cot (which can be repositioned throughout the villa). Air conditioning.
Third bedroom comprising of 2 single beds, 1 bedside table, 1 double wardrobe. Air conditioning.
Ground floor bedroom comprising of 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 bedside table, 1 double wardrobe. Airconditioning
Sofabeds in the lounge area, and fold up bed available (stored within private storage area available upon request).

Kitchen
Large kitchen within basement area. Fitted kitchen cabinets, worktops, electric oven with extractor, gas hob, large fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine and safe (in cupboard below stairs) and free standing water cooler (for a 19L demicana available from all local shops nearest 100 meters approx, or can be directly delivered). Information on home shopping food deliveries featured on the fridge.
Electric Air hockey table and pool/snooker table for the children. High Chair, and laundry equipment (Iron, Ironing Board and airer).

Additional features

An intruder alarm is installed to the premises, easy set and unset by fobs on the house keys.
Smoke alarms on each floor.
Plenty of plates, glasses, cooking dishes and utensils.
Dining/kitchen table to seat 8 people.


A security intruder alarm is also installed.There is a garden sprinkler system, which has been programmed to come on at approx 5am, so watch out all you club goers on your way in in the morning!!!!

Further details outdoors:
The outside area provides a large private infinitey pool (unheated) measuring 7m square. The shallow end is 1 metre sloping to 2 meters in the deep end, access via steel steps in deep end, and 3 LED pool lights that automatically come on in the evening. The pool is a must in the hot summers they have in Turkey! (all sizes are approximate).
To the right facing the villa there is a new sun terrace raised decking area (for 2013 season) measuring 15m long x 6m wide, adjoining the poolside. 6 sunbeds and mattresses and parasol, and 1 swinging hammock. Palm, fig and ornage tree within the decking area. Opposite this there is additional terrace tiled area approx same size, with further 6 sunbeds and mattresses, parasol, 2 large tables and chairs. Large steel BBQ on wheels for repositioning as needed.
All terraced areas have view of the mountains, and surrounding Ovacik area.
Large unoverlooked garden with many established fruit trees, obtainable for the picking (depend on season help yourself!) and bushes and shrubs. Rear garden overlooks the land for the farm next door, and washing line is here. Private garage. Off road parking to the front of the garden under shaded pergoda.
External security CCTV on entrance only.
Garden and pool are maintained 6 days per week by Nuray (english speaking) our gardener.

Further details

The villa is prepared for your arrival including bed linen and towels (not beach towels). Mid stay cleaning is provided on bookings of more than one week, where bed linen and towels will be changed, and an intermediate clean.
Welcome baskets can be arranged at your request, subject to local charges.
We can arrange airport transfers, to enable smooth arrival and departures, prices upon request.
We do not specify a changeover time, as we try our utmost to incorporate this within your flight times, as agreed.
On booking a 25% deposit is required with your booking form. There is also a £100.00 refundable breakages security deposit required. The remaining balance of 75% is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. The breakages deposit is refunded back to you approx 2 weeks after vacting the property, inspection and key return.

The pool/gardener is available to help with any issues you have with the villa, and is available 6 days per week. He
can also be contacted at anytime via telephone (numbers provided with booking). The owners are also available via
email as necessary.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Ovacik is situated on south-west coast of Turkey. The town is positioned between Fethiye and Hisaronu. The beach and lagoon at Olu Deniz are a short dolmus (bus) journey away. The weather between July and August is very hot, however Ovacik is nestled within the valley of the mountains, providing that well needed mountain breeze.

The Hisaronu / Ovacik area

Local places to visit:
Fethiye - This is the local main town. The large Bazaar (market) is held every Tuesday, with everything from fruit to designer clothes available. There is a harbourside and marina, with bars and restaurants alongside. The Fish Market is everyday, and is situated behind the main harbour road. There you can choose your fish/seafood and the nearby restaurants will cook it for you.

Hisaronu - this is a lively town and within walking distance from the villa in Ovacik. It is abundant in shops, bars and restaurants, well equipped for good days and nights out!

Kaya Koy - Also known as Ghost Town - This is an ancient historical area where once the greeks resided until leaving Turkey. Now, however still unihabited, it provides an enjoyable and interesting location to visit.

Olu Deniz - This is the beachside town, which houses the famous Blue lagoon. The lovely sandy beach is found at the foot of the mountain, and continues along a long stretch, to the lagoon area. There are plenty of activities for the more energetic (watersports etc), but for those who wish to relax, there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols to enjoy a lazy day. The lagoon is very beautiful, and provide 'pond like' waters, to enjoy a cool down swim in the hot sun.

“Had a great time!!” We all had a great time here, there were 7of us and a baby, plenty of room, clean and very spacious! The pool was lovely, and also the outside speakers from the indoor stereo was a great touch!... more

“disappointed” stopped here for 2 weeks and thought the villa was in need of a facelift..the air con kept packing up,the electric kept tripping and the board was out side so if it went off in the night you was left... more
