Home description
Pinewood villa is 12 months old and is situated on the side of Babadag mountain surrounded on 3 sides by protected forest and land. It is elevated for stunning views towards the surrounding mountains and overlooks Ovacik and Hisaronu. There is a large 40sq.m private swimming pool, large patio and barbecue areas. There are 3 double bedrooms all with balconies, the master one being en suite with shower / bath and 2 balconies. There is a separate guest shower room / toilet. and a downstairs toilet / washroom. The pool shower is also hot / cold so try an outdoor shower ! Patio and garden furniture / hammock and gas barbecue are there to use. There is also fishing and snorkelling equipment. Oludeniz beach is about 3 km. away and Hisaronu for restaurants, bars etc is a 3 min. drive or 10 min. walk away . Everywhere can be reached by dolmus the local cheap transport in Turkey. There are many excellent restaurants and shops in Hisaronu, Oludeniz or Fethiye. Should you want to barbecue or self cater there are large supermarkets in Fethiye and the villa has an excellent well equipped kitchen. There is full air con. in all rooms. There is 24 hour security and full assistance available in resort.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The popular resort of Fethiye, boasts an important marina at the head of a beautiful bay strewn with islands. A hill crowned by the ruins of the crusader fortress built by the Knights of Rhodes overlooks the little port. Above the town, numerous Lycian rock tombs, reproducing the facades of ancient buildings, were cut into the cliff face. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars to choose from in Fethiye. Some of the bars and restaurants are situated alongside the harbour taking in the fantastic views of the Taurus Mountains and the coastline. Visit the famous Tuesday market for all your shopping needs and relax over a cool drink and a gozlem ( turkish pancake )
Hisaronu / Ovacik area
CALIS ten minutes drive from Fethiye (or you can take a boat Dolmus in the summer months) is a beach resort it is a quieter resort but it still has its fair share of restaurants, shops and bars, the long beach is a favourite with holidaymakers because it doesn't get too crowded and there is a constant sea breeze. The famous 'Caretta Turtles' come to this beach to lay their eggs so if you keep your eyes peeled you may catch sight of one.
A 5 minute drive from Fethiye and you reach the charming hill resort of Hisaronu In recent years the resort has become very popular with British visitors, and the shops, restaurants, and bars cater extensively for their needs. An ideal place for walkers, visit the nearby deserted village, 'ghost town' of Kayakoy, or the secluded bays and coves, reached by the winding forest paths. A short ride takes you to the beautiful beach resort of Oludeniz, this is the most photographed beach area in Turkey. Swim in the crystal clear waters of the lagoon or relax with a coffee on the promenade. Oludeniz is a resort in its own right with its own bars and restaurants. All these places are but a short dolmus ride away.

How to get there
Fly into Dalaman airport, we can arrange transfers or car hire . Fethiye now the new tunnel is finished is about 40 min. from Dalaman airport. You travel through Fethiye onto the Oludeniz road to Hisaronu / Ovacik, detailed instructions will be given on the bookings form to find the villa should you be driving. Transfers are Car for up to 3 £40 each way direct to Pinewood Villa and a minibus up to 9 persons £60 each way direct to Pinewood Villa. Car Hire is from £22 per day and personal excursions can be arranged.

Further details indoors: All bedrooms have wardrobes and storage space. The villa will be cleaned every Saturday and fresh sheets,towels etc will be available Wednesdays, washing/ ironing can be arranged for an extra charge should you not wish to do it yourselves. Towels and bed linen provided and changed when villa cleaned and also available Wednesdays. Basic provisions provided for your arrival if you wish but a full shopping service is available by prior arrangement, local markets offer a free delivery service. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NON SMOKING VILLA, we thank you for your co operation.
Further details outdoors: Please note that the pool is the standard ( for Turkey ) 1.4 metre deep THERE IS NO SHALLOW END therefore non swimmers and children should be supervised. The pool is cleaned and checked every morning.
