About the home

The bright airy open plan lounge and kitchen area has comfy sofas, coffee table, TV/DVD, CD player etc. and is the perfect place to relax on those days you might want to stay out of the sun. The balcony is directly off the lounge and boasts an exceptional view of the pool and surrounding area overlooking the mountain ranges and the lively village of Hisaronu.

The large communal pool is accompanied by a small and safe children’s paddling pool, poolside shower and plenty of sun beds and sun brollies to go round. The pool, pool area, sun beds and surrounding gardens are all maintained and cleaned daily by an on-site maintenance team & gardener to ensure that everything is always clean, safe and more importantly ready for you to relax in at all times.

The open plan kitchen area is fully equipped with a 4 ring hob, mini oven, toaster, kettle and all the usual cutlery and crockery so you can choose to stay in and cook or take the easier holiday option, of eating out in one of Hisaronus many many restaurants or bars. There is also a full size under counter fridge.

There are 3 bedrooms comprising of 1 double and 1 twin on the first floor along with the main shower room, and then 1 master double/twin in the attic with en-suite shower room, which also has additional beds available for larger parties with more than 6 guests. All bedrooms have comfy divan beds, wardrobes and drawers.

There is air conditioning in the main lounge/kitchen/shared areas, and in the attic bedroom which is available to use at no extra cost. There is also a safe available, again free of charge. Mosquito nets are fitted to all windows for your comfort.

(Additional seating for dining etc. is also provided for parties of more than 4)

Conditions

We have a no smoking policy inside the apartment. You are welcome to smoke on the balcony and in the communal areas, just not inside the property please.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Based on the famous Turquoise Coast in Turkey, Hisaronu is within minutes of Olu Deniz which is the home of the famous Blue Lagoon.

There is a courtesy coach run by NGI which picks up from our apartments FREE OF CHARGE to take you to their Private Beach on the Blue Lagoon, the Genc Beach. You will be charged for the hire of sunbeds & sun umbrellas, both here and on the normal public beach. Genc beach also has a fully licensed bar and restaurant so you can relax here all day. You can also rent out kayaks/canoes, pedalos etc. as you can on the main beach.

The main beach in Olu Deniz is a large sandy beach with a pebbly entrance to the water, so you might want to keep your flip-flops on to get into the water. There are bars and restaurants lining the beach as well as beach bars etc.

All paragliders who are brave enough to jump from the mountains surrounding the area, land on Olu Deniz beach so be sure to look around you when crossing the landing patches between the beach and the bars.

Being a beach resort you will find that everything is a little more expensive here than in Hisaronu but the scenery and atmosphere make it all worthwhile, especially when you watch the sun go down over the sea at night whilst enjoying a lovely meal at any of the sea front restaurants.

The Hisaronu area

The village of Hisaronu is set on a plateau above sea level and is bordered by Mount Babadag. The views all around the village are breathtaking, with miles and miles of pine clad mountains.

The village benefits from a cooling breeze during the hot summer months which comes from the nearby lagoon of Olu Deniz. The Blue Lagoon is the most famous and photographed beach in Turkey, you will see it on most of the Turkey holiday brochure covers, and it can be reached easily within 10 minutes of Hisaronu by hoping on a dolmus (local taxi bus) for a fare of around 70p.

Hisaronu can be a lively place to be during the summer months, and there are lots of shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs which are open all hours and will cater for every need, you will not go without here.

For those wanting a more tranquil stay, well Hisaronu offers that too! The edges of the villages offer more peaceful bars and restaurants, and again will cater for everyone's needs and all within walking distance.
