The cottage is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is within easy reach of Stourhead, Longleat, Shaftesbury, Stonehenge and Salisbury.

Heating from storage radiators with additional heating from woodburning stove in the sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, digital colour TV, DVD player, DVDs, library of books, maps and walking guides, etc. All fuel and power and initial supply of logs for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Small gravel and paved patio with garden furniture to front of cottage. One well behaved dog welcome at £10 per week. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk.

The Hindon area
The peaceful village of Hindon quietly sits on the border of Wiltshire and Dorset in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just six miles from the historic town of Shaftesbury. This charming village of quaint cottages is home to two former coaching inns renowned for their excellent menus and exceptional selection of real ales. Hindon also boasts a great local shop whilst the surrounding countryside and gently undulating chalk downlands provide a wealth of walking and cycling opportunities. The local area is full of other towns worth visiting too and these include picturesque Stourhead, historic Shaftesbury and Longleat. The ancient, mysterious site of Stonehenge is also within easy driving distance whilst the wonderful cathedral city of Salisbury makes a great destination for a day trip.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
