Carn Mhor Lodge is a newly built, detached property located at the High Burnside development in Aviemore. Set back in a secluded location with forest walks to the rear of the house, the property boasts fantastic views of the Cairngorm mountains from the upstairs and downstairs lounge areas. With a large garden to the front and rear, there is ample outdoor space for enjoying the snow in the Winter or relaxing in the Summer taking in the surrounding woodland and view of the mountains.

With five good sized bedrooms, Carn Mhor Lodge can sleep up to nine guests. The house is a split level home with the lower level comprising of the entrance hallway, cloakroom toilet and downstairs lounge with TV and a decked balcony out to the front garden. On the second tier is the country style kitchen and dining area which serves as the heart of the home. Ideal for dinner parties, the kitchen is equipped with modern appliances including a dishwasher, fan assisted oven and grill, electric range cooker, washing machine and microwave. There is also a decked balcony off the kitchen to the front of the property over looking the mountains. Two double bedrooms and modern shower room are also located on this level. Further up the stairs is the second lounge with french style doors framing the view to the front of the property. With comfy leather sofas, TV and cosy wood burning stove, this room is perfect for unwinding after a day on the hills. On the upper tier, the master bedroom is provided with a king size bed and en-suite with rainforest shower. A twin room and single bedroom are also on the upper floor of the house and share the use of the bathroom with overhead shower. The house is accessed by a private driveway large enough to accommodate up to six cars and the centre of Aviemore is only a ten minute walk away. Free WiFi ranging throughout the home is also provided.

Aviemore itself is a hotspot for holidaymakers from far and wide. Situated in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, Aviemore is an ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoors. With hills a plenty on your doorstep you will never be short of things to do! The Rothiemurchus estate, which is situated just two miles from the centre of Aviemore, offers a variety of adventure activities including white water rafting, pony trekking, clay pigeon shooting, gorge walking and mountain biking to name a few. Aviemore is also home to one of the largest ski areas in Scotland which has seen plenty of visitors over the years and has had some of the best ski seasons of late with the mountain remaining open to skiers until mid-April last year. The funicular train up to the top of the mountain also runs during the Summer months which takes you up to the mountain cafe where you can take in the views. The town is well equipped for holiday makers with a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. There is also plenty to do for young children with Landmark the Adventure Park and the Highland Wildlife Centre remaining open all year. Nearby watersports are also provided at Loch Morlich and Loch Insh.
