About the home

This area is surrounded by beautiful towns, the restaurants are second to none and there is a fantastic family atmosphere!

Dogs are very welcome here. If Architecture is your cup of tea then Arras is 45 minutes away, this is a beautiful town with two amazing cobbled squares and on Saturday mornings they have a local French market.

There is also a towns called Montreuil and Le Touquet which are lovely tourist areas.

- £200 of rental fee due to confirm booking before your stay, to secure booking. Non refundable if cancellation may occur.
-Balance of rental fee and £200 breakages and damage deposit required one week before your stay.
-Property to be left in a clean and tidy order thoughout or £50 from your deposit will be deducted

The Climate is very similar to the south of England.

Golfers and entrepreneurs will love Le Touquet. Ramblers and cyclists would love the surrounding areas.

Arras is a large town full of amazing architectural buildings .

Montrieul is a perfect town for tourists and is very friendly.

Paris being only a short distance by car taking approximately 2 hours.

The Hesdin area

Beautiful quaint town with many bistros, restaurants in a lovely cobbled square.

Thursday mornings a market is held in the town of Hesdin and during the Summer months live bands play in the square.

From Folkstone to Calais by Euro tunnel then on the A16 towards Boulogne exit at junction 25 head towards Arras this will bring you into Hesdin. Le Parcq is 5 minutes drive from Hesdin.

“Good value , large property, peaceful location” We had a pleasant week at this very good value comfortable house, which had four double bedrooms. It is set in a very peaceful location, on the very outskirts or Hesdin, which has all the shops and restaurants we needed. Hesdin has some good family restaurants such as the Manhattan and the Globe. Although, the kitchen is very well equipped. Arras, Le Touquet and other picturesque towns are a short drive away. If you are looking for a base to visit historical battle sites, such As Agincourt, Crecy and the Somme valley this house is ideally situated between them. A car and a satnav are essential though.

“A great retreat for musicians attending Fete de Musique Hesdin” We stayed at teh coach house for the second successive year as we were einvited to play again at the Hotel Le Chope during the annual misic festival. Again the accomodation, access and garden areas allowed relaxation as well as communial eating and socialising. We have booked athird stay for the same time next year. Ideal for a family gathering for those who can entertain themselves and value privacy and peace and quiet. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to any one! Rock Amici.

“Excellent accommodation with a great rural location and only 1 hour from Calais” Ideally located to visit the numerous local market towns and many historical sites. Also only a 45 mins drive to Le Touquet with its fabulous beaches. The accommodation was excellent and more than ample for our party of 5 with the highlight for me the open fire in the main living room. I would highly recommend it.

“Fantastic property, Well worth the trip” We stayed here end of May 2011 for one week, the let was brilliant and advice was communicated by the owner very clearly. A bit difficult to find first of all but you soon get used to the location.... more
