Located in a beautiful part of Hertfordshire, surrounded by rolling countryside, great for long walks (interspersed by the occasional country pub!), horse riding through nearby stables or just relaxing in the sheltered and enclosed garden of over 1/3 acre(chairs and table provided).
You can easily visit the historic city of Cambridge or, if you fancy a night out on the town, London is an easy and quick commute by car or on the train (fast and regular services from Hertford or Bishops Stortford).
The Barn can accommodate a young family (two adults and two young children) so please enquire for details.
There are many friendly local restaurants and pubs to choose from in the evening; on the other hand, if a restful evening at 'home' is more appealing then the Barn's kitchen facilities, TV, Music Centre and complimentary WiFi should provide all you need.

The South East England / Hertfordshire region
The county of Hertfordshire is located North of London and offers a great combination of ease of access to the City whilst having some of the most beautiful countryside in the South East. The county town of Hertford is only a short drive as is Bishops Stortford. For those interested in country sports including Horse Riding there are a number of alternatives; similarly those looking for slightly less active passtimes, there are an infinite number of country walks to enjoy. If good food is your passion, choose from the relaxed atmoshere of some excellent English country pubs to the refinement of one of the county's top class restaurants.
The Hertford / Much Hadham area
Much Hadham is a beautiful English Country Village with a well known and much loved Church as well as a choice of English pubs. The Henry Moore Foundation is only 5 minutes drive away as is the village of Standon (venue for the well known Standon Music Festival)
