"Lovely old Cottage...very homely with a beautiful garden and Hot Tub!"

This was truly a wonderful cottage in a great location. I think this cottage benefits from the fact that the owner really does live here for some of the year and unlike many other cottages you may hir… More

"Homely, welcoming cottage, ideally located for visiting many places nearby"

The cottage is well placed for easy short drives to Whitstable, Howletts, the Kent countryside or a day trip to Canterbury (a park and ride scheme is within a few miles along one road), so plenty to do to fill an active short break. One bedroom on the ground floor and one upstairs is ideal for a feeling of extra space when sharing, and the lounge providing a great meeting place in the middle, cosy and comfortable. The garden was a delightful space where we had breakfast outdoors in private and the hot tub was very popular at the end of a day out. All the most important things you need while away were provided, including a welcome basket. The owner's grandson, who had prepared everything for our visit was cheerful, helpful and informative. We could not have wanted more - a good value self catering property.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are very pleased you had a nice stay at the cottage and look forward to seeing you again in the future if you need a base in kent again! Kind regards, Oliver

"Lovely cottage with a great garden"

We had a great time in this cottage. The cottage is small but comfortable. The kitchen is well provided. Washing machine, dryer and dishwasher in the kitchen, superb! The babybed (babycot) is not so comfortable anymore. The garden is great, especially for our young children, because they can't get out! The hot tub was also great! The very busy road in front of the house is the only disadvantage. They drive very fast, it's a busy road and very nearby the house.
The owners are very friendly people. There was a welcome package for us when we arrived, so that we could eat and drink something.
There is no supermarket nearby, you have to go by car.
