The property itself is excellent, well appointed, modern and very clean, lovely little garden, off street parking and wonderful cliff top views, it is on the very edge of herne bay, so a walk into the town itself is a good 45 walk, (and we walk at a good pace) whitstable is a good hour the other way, and worth a visit for shops although the front was disappointing....angie and pete the owners are lovely, and cant do enough for you...sky tv was a bonus!!! the only downsides we found were the roads on the estate are private, so not maintained, they are in a terrible state, all uneven and pot holes. The guy who rents the upstairs apartment, is only usually there on a weekend, he came at 1.30 in the morning when we were there, and you can hear everything!!! loud footsteps, talking, and even using the toilet!! glad we were coming home the next day...not very well soundproofed....but all in all we had a fantastic stay..weather was excellent and the apartment is superb.... |
