About the home

Contemporary free-standing self-catering villa managed by Seeff Properties, with generous open-plan living areas, five spacious double bedrooms (all en-suite), large country kitchen with separate scullery area, situated on golf course with private swimming pool.
Remote controlled double garage with direct access.
Approximately 400 sq.m. in size and perfectly situated in the estate – close enough to walk to the on-site Hotel with all its amenities.

Built high on a rise on the 13th fairway, just off the tee-box, Villa 192 overlooks the golf course.
Beautifully positioned, facing north towards the Overberg mountain range, with the largest natural lagoon in Southern Africa (and beyond that, the sea) forming a very dramatic backdrop to the South.
It offers 5 bedrooms (all with en-suite bathrooms), able to accommodate up to 10 guests, open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen, patio with braai-area, swimming pool, double garage with remote controlled access.
The tastefully decorated,spacious open plan living area has a 74cm TV, DVD player with surround sound, DSTV dish and decoder, neutral suede lounge suite plus assorted side and coffee tables and a dining room table with 10 chairs.
Upstairs an additional lounge for quiet reading, relaxing.
The kitchen has all required facilities like Fridge/freezer, Washing machine, Tumble dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave oven, Toaster, Kettle, Crockery and cutlery to serve 12 people, Drinking/wine glasses, Pots, pans, serving dishes etc.
The main bedroom has a King size bed plus 54cm TV; bedrooms 2 &3 both Queen size beds and bedroom 4 & 5 each 2 x single beds.

Covering about 112 hectares, the residential area of the estate comprises only about 12% of this – with properties varying in size from 550 sq.m. to 1050 sq.m.

Designed and built in 1999 by celebrated South African golf course architect Peter Matkovich, who is also credited with the design of Western Cape courses de Zalze and Steenberg, this classic parkland course has spectacular views across the Bot River lagoon and across the Kogelberg mountain range.

Situated about 100 km or 80 minutes drive from Cape Town, the Arabella Western Cape Hotel and Spa is nestled in one of the most unique and spectacular areas of Southern Africa.

Cape Town, Table Mountain, V & A Waterfront (Shopping) , restaurants, night-life, and city experiences are within easy reach if required.

The Hermanus / Arabella Country Estate area

Multiple options are available for days that are not ideal for Golf or Spa activities. Beautiful beaches at Kleinmond(5km) and Hermanus(25km) away. Hermanus Town is also a well-known Whale watching village.
Easy scenic drives to the picturesque villages, wine estates in nearby Hemel en Aarde Valley and winelands of Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Somerset West. There is a large selection of restaurants to suit all tastes from good country cooking to fine dining.

For the more adventurous Horse riding, Quad Bike driving, Scuba diving, Deep Sea Fishing and White Shark Cage-diving nearby. Cape Agulhas, the beautiful southern tip of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet is 100.0 km further

In closer proximity one finds the Stony Point Penguin Colony - Bettys Bay (15.0 km), the Historic Town of Genadendal (15.0 km), Harold Porter National Botanical Garden - Bettys Bay (15.0 km).

Flights to South Africa (Cape Town direct or via Johannesburg) available on SA Airways, BA; Lufthansa, Virgin, and others.
From Cape Town International Airport about 80 km (1 hr drive) along N2, past Somerset West , taking the R44 towards Hermanus.
About 25 km before Hermanus Town, turn to right towards Kleinmond, after about 1km Arabella Country Estate to the left.
From the Estate gate, continue straight towards Hotel.
At the circle before the hotel, turn right into Kingfisher, then take third right into Blue Crane to 2nd house on right, villa 192.
