Home description
Rustic, self catering cottage in Hermanus near Cape Town. The cottage is fantastic value for money and sleeps 4 comfortably with two bedrooms - one double and one twin. The cottage is just 8 minutes walk from the beach and guests have the use of the natural rock swimming pool and BBQ area. The cottage comprises of two bedrooms, shower, toilet and basin, lounge open plan kitchenette with breakfast bar and sliding glass doors on to natural rock swimming pool area. There are outside garden table, chairs and two sun loungers plus a big brolley.

The Western Cape region
Western Cape enjoys mild winters and pleasant summers, rainfall is moderate throughout the year and there are refreshing sea breezes from the two oceans. Swimming surfing and fishing is right on your doorstep.
High season is December to January, but February to May is an equally wonderful time to visit the Western Cape.
Cape Town is just one and half hours drive away, and the owners will gladly help you plan your trip to this amazing city.
Africadabra is perfectly situated on the coastal route with magic mountain views. Moderate breezes blow across from the two oceans, amazing mountain views fabulous sea coastal drives, sun drenched beaches, amazing surfing. Visit the largest gem stone factory in the world, see the penquins, see the southern right. Whales from the shore are an amazing sight, so much to do and see.
Fresh fruit is always plentiful as well as our South African wines. For the gourmet fantastic restaurants, with excellent service, are close by providing seafood, succulent steaks and sticky ribs. Adorable little shops and boutiques together with lots of nooks and crannies for you to explore. You really can afford to indulge yourselves.
Hermanus area
There is a wonderful amount to see and do in this part of the Western Cape.
Experience the so called Hermanus "champagne air". Hermanus is the heart of the whale route offering the best land-based Whale watching in the world with a Whale Festival in September. Also available in the waters off the coast are diving with great white sharks and fishing.
There are plenty of outdoor activities in the area, golf, mountain walks and nature trails. There's also a lovely cultural scene, with work by local African artists and a wonderful craft market. There are some quality wines produced in the region, and excellent seafood and steak restaurants.
With so much to see and do you can have an activity filled holiday, or you can just swim and laze in the sun.

Direct flights are available from London Heathrow to Cape Town (+ - 12 hours)
The Cottage is a one and a half hour drive from Cape Town
We can pick you up from the airport for an extra charge.
