This beautiful cottage style house sleeps up to six people. It is based over two floors,kitchen lounge,dining room, with tv,dvd, dining room seating for 6, ground floor bathroom & toilet room, fitted kitchen & sun room, ski storage room. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms one with balcony ,upstairs shower and toilet. Outside the cottage there is a terrace and off road parking space. local restaurant and bar for nights out . With the ski arena Nassfeld only 10 mins away and it's guaranteed snow conditions, it offers more than 100km of brilliant pistes, 30 state of the art cable cars and lifts, there are snow board areas for all you snow board enthusiasts, not forgetting the kinder club for children of all ages where they can learn from scratch and have great fun. Nassfeld also holds sporting events for the European cup and world cup. There is also 300 km of cross country trails for cross country skiing. Not forgetting the largest natural ice rink with a surface of 6.5km2 which holds speed skating marathons over 200km, ice golf, curling and ice hockey, and for après ski simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere in a cosy ski hut. Carinthia is truly a wonderful and interesting place and once you have been you will never forget...

Hermagor area

The place of Jenig lies on the sunny side of Gailtal valley, in the centre of the skiing and natural arena Nassfeld. It has been inhabited since ancient times, ruins of the Roman fortification walls Hadnmauer bear witness to this. The development of tourism in the place begins in 1873 with the founding of a post office. Locals look back to 1917 with great pride, when Empress Zita von Habsburg stayed here. Today, this traditionally agricultural area offers guests its best products - renowned Gailtal bacon and alpine cheese

Ryanair also fly from Dublin/ East Midlands/ Liverpool and Stansted to Salzburg.
Other ways to fly are; to Ljubljana from Stansted, Venice from Bristol/ East Midlands/ Manchester and Gatwick through Easyjet.com

Salzburg is about 2 hours driving as is Venice; Ljubljana is about an hour away
