Rural, peaceful with fantastic views in Herefordshire countryside, ideal for walks straight from the front door. Catering can be provided in this warm, family friendly accommodation.

The property for rent is made up of 2 cottages that are joined together by internal connecting doors. Each cottage can sleep 10 & 12 and when booked together there is the use of a large dining room that seats 22 and internal connecting doors between the cottages.Each cottage has full central heating and log fires,fully equipped kitchen.Gardens with BBQ and seating.

We can help you organise local activities, caonoeing,paintballing,clay pigeon shooting,pottery ,pampering at a local spa,and more.Catering can also be organised

“Wow - where do I start?” Excellent stay in well equipped cottages. Real home from home. Log fires in comfy lounges with tv and dvd facilities, an excellent joint dining area that we used constantly, clean bathrooms and bedrooms, and well equipped kitchens. The games room, although not used by us, would be a hit with teenagers. Wifi access was very much appreciated. All this topped off with stunning views and the chance of long walks in the countryside. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would return. I have no hesitation of recommending Durstone Cottages to anyone who wants to get away from it all. Superb!!!!!!

“Great property and surroundings” We hired the cottage in October 2012 for a university reunion. There was 17 of us, mix of couples and young families. The cottage had everything we needed, the dining room was particularly good for such a large group and so was the use of two kitchens (and two dishwashers!). The surroundings are beautiful and its only a short walk to the local pub. The games room outside was also a bonus, useful being detached from the house so as not to wake babies!

“A Brilliant Place for a large family getaway.” There were 18 people in our party and we wanted a few days away where we could walk in the country, have a bbq and a few drinks and be able to laugh and have fun without disturbing anyone. The house itself was very homely and comfortable. It's very well equipped and well laid out. The local area has amazing views and loads of walks and yet there are several supermarkets within a short drive. I would definitely go back to this house and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

“Perfect for large groups” We were a group of 19 and it was brilliant, just what we needed. Given our numbers, we took both halves of the cottage and had access to the communal dining area, as well as two kitchens, two lounges and a multitude of bedrooms and bathrooms. Given that the weather wasn't kind during our stay, this and the games room made the weekend much more enjoyable. Sarah, the owner, has been really helpful throughout and responds really quickly to queries etc. Other plus points include: free WiFI, TVs (including some TVs in the bedrooms), radios, dishwashers, logs and charcoal available (honesty box) - although we took our own charcoal, plenty of parking, great local pub with good beers and range of food. If you are looking for accommodation for a large group, this place is highly recommended.
