"Clean, compact base with excellent facilities for disabled guests"
Had a great stay here at the tack room.
The owners are very friendly and were accommodating when asked for anything extra.
The property itself was very clean and well kept, including the surrounding areas to the exterior.
Although the Tack room is compact in that it sleeps 3, there was ample room for the electric wheelchair of our disabled fellow traveller and a fantastic-sized bathroom which has been specially designed for guests who need aid. Plastic shower chair was provided for our stay.
Everything you need for your stay is included so 2 x televisions, kitchen stocked with pots/pans/cutlery etc were there on aarrival, including a generous bottle of white wine :)
Not easy to find and the directions need to be updated so that satnavs can be used.
Not much surrounding so a car and your own food are absolute musts

"Picturesque Setting, relaxing break."
We stayed at the Tack Room for a Silver Wedding treat, the decor is lovely and fresh, very comfy bed and super shower room, lovely and warm, this is also suitable for disabled or elderly people as it is all on one level , lovely walks around and if you have a bigger family you can rent the adjoining one which is suitable for larger families, very good local pub in Pencombe "The Wheelwright" with good food and mulled wine on tap! Lovely part of the Country would definately go back.
