New spacious, second floor, 2 bedroom apartment, south facing, 50m from the water“s edge. The apartment is located in a quiet area of Kumbor, 5km east of Herceg Novi, located at the entrance to the Boka Kotorska fjord.
Kumbor is an ideal base to spend a relaxing holiday next to the sea and for day trips to the surrounding attractions that Montenegro has to offer.
Swimming and sunbathing is possible from the small beach within 50m of the apartment. There are restaurant and bar terraces within a few hundred metres and a small grocery store within 30m. NOTE- SMALLER STUDIO APARTMANS IN SAME LOCATION ARE AVAILABLE

The Boka Kotorska Fjord region
Herceg Novi sits at the foot of the slopes of Mount Orijen (1893m), and is situated at the entrance of one of the most beautiful fjords in the world, the Boka Kotorska, a World Heritage Site. The fjord stretches inland for 25km to the ancient fortress town of Kotor and covers an area of 90 km2.
Herceg Novi has stood guard over the mouth of the fjord since medieval times. It's stone walls and fortresses have been occupied by various invaders including the Turks, Venetians, Spanish and finally, until 1918, the Austrians, whose lasting legacy, to be found in most cafes, apple strudel!
Foreign exchange in Montenegro is the Euro and prices are generally half of those in Croatia.
Herceg Novi / Kumbor area
Kumbor is perfect for swimming and relaxing, and with the beach only 50m away, the apartment makes an ideal base amongst the water side bars and restaurants.
Herceg Novi, 5km away is a picturesque town with it's stone paved streets and alleyways revealing many shops, restaurants and bars. There are many festivals, carnivals and open-air concerts throughout the year starting with the Mimosa festival on the first Saturday in February.
The beautiful Savina monastery which can be seen from the water front in Kumbor is well worth a visit with magnificent views over the fjord. From Savina there is a promenade stretching for 12 km past the harbour in Herceg Novi to the beach in Igalo which makes a very pleasant stroll.
Each day there are boat trips around the fjord, including Kotor, Herceg Novi, Igalo, across the bay to Rose and various beaches on the Lustica peninsula and the Austrian fortress on the island of Mamula.
If you do not wish to drive there are frequent buses (every 15 mins locally) and taxis are cheap, €0.70/km.
An excursion to Dubrovnik, only 55 km away can be made by way of the frequent coach service.
How to get there
Dubrovnik airport 28 km from apartment, 30 min taxi ride. Owner can pre-arrange taxi pickup, €40-50. There are taxis and car hire at the airport, but it is generally cheaper to arrange in Herceg Novi.
