The village is about 15 klm from Iraklion and on the main road that leads to the famous Cretan village of Anogia and mount Psiloritis. It is an easy ride to Knossos, the village of Archanes, as well as only an hour away from Rethymnon (west) and Agios Nikolaos & Elounda (east). Various beaches are accessible by car (nearest 20 min car ride).
