Louie apartments are two self contained apartments on two floors, situated in a very large private garden. They are located in a very quiet, exclusive neighbourhood of Gazi, with wonderful views of local olive grooves.
The nearest mini market specialising in local produce is only 800m away, and Amoudara beach is less than 2km away. This stretch of beach has many wonderful restaurants and tavernas offering genuine Cretean cuisine.
The apartments are ideally located for a quiet and relaxing holiday over a glass of locally produced raki. However, when (or if) you require something a little more historical, the palace of Knossos and the Archeological Museum are very easy to access, and if you require something more adventurous yet then Amoudara offers a multiplex cinema and a thriving nightlife.

The Crete region
Crete is the largest island in Greece and offers a multitude of experiences, enough to satisfy all tastes.
Crete is beautiful. Visit the capital city, Iraklion and see the fortress and Venetian walls. Take in the wonderful coastal scenes and enjoy the peaceful rugged landscape. This lovely island is full of history and culture. Great for beaches and sunbathing, walks, bird watching, visiting ancient sites, and the local wines and olive oils.
Heraklion/Iraklion area
Very close by are the World famous attractions of the Minoan Palace at Knossos, and the Heraklion Archeological Musuem. For the more adventurous there are daily excursions to the Samaria Gorge.
Within an easy drive there are two large waterparks and the new and impressive Aquarium, called Cretaquarium.
