Boat Gina is the perfect boat for anyone who wants to enjoy boating on the River Thames with all the comforts of home. There is nothing quite like the sense of freedom of cruising at your own pace and mooring up when you feel like it, exploring some of England's most picturesque countryside. This is an ideal holiday for smaller groups, couples and families.
Gina is perfectly designed for our guests, with 2 private, double cabins, one of which can also be made up in to twin beds. Each cabin has a wardrobe and a private access to the toilet and shower room. There is a hair dryer in the twin cabin. Gina comes equipped with: a fuel burner which makes the boat cosy and warm all the year round and there is also full central heating with radiators throughout. The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge with a small freezer unit, 4 ring gas hob, oven and grill and a full range of utensils.
There is a spacious, light and airy feel to the saloon with double glazed front windows adjacent to the front fully glazed doors. There is a dinette which is ideal for entertaining and which can also be made up into an extra 2 berths, making this perfect accommodation for 6 people. In the saloon is a TV and DVD player and IPOD dock for your entertainment.
Outside is a seating area where guests can enjoy the views of the stunning River Thames country side while you cruise and unwind at your own pace. Don't worry about driving the boat, full tuition is provided before you start your holiday and we are always on standby to assist should you need us. We are also dog friendly.

Gina has the option of either single or double berth configurations which provide the widest choice to best suit the make-up of groups. The dinnette can be made up easily into a double bed, making this accommodation for up to 6 people.
The finishing inside the boat has a fresh, modern feel without detracting from the character of living on board a narrowboat.
There are airing cupboards on board and storage for your bags, although we reccommend you leave your big suitcases at home.
There is a double window hatch in the saloon area which opens out, allowing guests to feed the swans and ducks who may come to call.

The boat has a bow deck where you can sit outside and enjoy the passing countryside as you cruise along. the stern deck is spacious, allowing room for the driver / helmsman and others
The boat when it goes out will be with a full tank of diesel and it is a condition of hire that clients return the boat with a full tank. The marina has a fuelling point and the marina staff will assist guests in re-fuelling the boat on their departure day before handing the boat back.
There is also an insurance waiver fee of £60. This is a one off payment per booking and is non-refundable.
A late return / breakage deposit of £300 is required. This will be refunded in full, provided the boat is returned in a clean and tidy condition with bins emptied etc, the diesel has been refilled and the boat is brought back at 09.00hrs on the departure day.

Your cruise will take you to some of the most picturesque parts of the River Thames. Stop at Henley-On-Thames which is full of restauarants and pubs and of course hosts the famous Henley Royal Regatta and the ever popular 80's Rewind festival. You will also experience beautiful Shiplake, Bourne End, Cookham and historic Royal Windsor and Oxford(on a week's cruise or longer)
For those of you just wanting to get away from it all and spend quality time with your family and friends, then try cruising upstream to Beale Park where you can enjoy peace and tranquility in a beautiful Thames location, miles from the hustle and bustle. Beale Park is also an ideal mooring spot for children as the Beale Park Zoo is onsite. The famous White Swan pub is within easy reach (the pub where Jerome K Jerome's 'Three Men In A Boat' journey ended). Visit Pangbourne, home of Kenneth Grahame, author of Wind In The Willows. Also visit Mapledurham House and Mill, inspiration for 'Toad Hall' in 'Wind In The Willows' and also used as a film set for the film 'Where Eagles Dare' The countryside is typical 'chocolate box' English countryside and used during the filming of 'Midsommer Murders'
Visit the famous Henely Royal Regatta in July /June or why not see the Olympics as our mooring is within easy reach of the train station which has trains running regularly to London (half an hour by train from Reading to London Paddington). The annual 80's rewind Music festival in London is always popular and you can be moored within easy walking distance to the festival.
The River Rowing Museum in Henley provides interest for all the family. The parks on the banks of the Thames at Henley provide ample space for children to play, family picnics or dog walking. All ammenities are within walking distance.
