Mellangoose is 1 1/2 miles from the unspoilt fishing village of Porthleven and equally close to the historic town of Helston. The cottage has a good sized lawn to the frnt and rear safe for children and pets. It has been recently refurbished to a very high standard with a great cottage feel including features such as beamed ceilings, wooden floors, hand made kitchen and open fire place.
Mellangoose is situated in West Cornwall in a perfect position to explore the coast and countryside of the Lizard and Lands End Peninsulas. Also very close to the major towns of Falmouth and Truro.

Helston is a historic town, famous for the Flora Day. Porthleven is the satelite town of Helston within 5 mins drive of Mellangoose Cottage. Porthleven is a working fishing harbour, with a pier. The beach is great for swimming and walking. Porthleven offers visitors, a selection of pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and shops.
How to get there
Mellangoose is tucked in just behind a large traditional stone property that is opposite the petrol station on Sithney Common. Sithney Common is about a mile out of Helston on the Penzance Road (A394) Buses run from Helston Town Centre towards Penzance regularly. Cheap Flights available to Newquay Cornwall from Ryan Air. Taxi Service available from Airport 50 mins Railway service from London into Penzance. Car Hire available from Newquay Airport and Penzance Train Station

It is ideal for two families also with one bathroom and a shower room. the price includes heating costs, linen and fresh towels. The house is surrounded by lawn and secured from the road by walls and gates. The lounge overlooks the garden, and has a TV,Video, DVD and Hi Fi. The Hand Made kitchen has been fully equipped and kept to a country style with , solid wood worktops, Belfast sink, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier etc. The garden has a patio area with garden furniture and gas BBQ.
Conditions
