Home description
Tremorna has been used by current owners, children and grandchildren as a holiday home for over 40 years, and is much loved by all of us. It has a truly special location, with superb views and a calm and peaceful atmosphere, as well as access to the shore from the garden - making it virtually unique even in such a specially beautiful location as Helford.
The Helford River is a magical location for sailing, boating, walking, swimming and general outdoor relaxation. The famous gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan are a short ferry ride away, and sand and shingle beaches, woods and cliffs are minutes away by footpath or boat. The whole of the glorious Lizard peninsula lies within about 20 minutes' car journey.

The West Country / Cornwall region
The Lizard Peninsula is Cornwall's most isolated region, a part of the world that still has an air of magic and remoteness. It also has a wonderfully mild subtropical climate, and weather which never seems to conform to what is happening elsewhere in Britain. You can find sun here when it's raining in Bristol!

The Helford River is a paradise for walkers, sailors, boaters, canoeists - and anyone who loves beautiful scenery, wild coastlines, and wildlife (as well as good pubs and cafes!).

Further details indoors: Tremorna sleeps 6 comfortably in one double and two twin bedrooms (one of which has beds which can be linked into a double). There's also a sofa-bed in the sitting room, and a roomy and dry summer house in the garden with its own sofa bed.
The cottage has a sizable kitchen with dining area, plus a spacious sitting room with a lovely open fire. There's a washing machine, TV, DVD player and microwave.
Further details outdoors: As well as off-road parking for two cars, there is a garden a few yards from the house across the tiny lane. This garden is secluded and entirely un-overlooked - a great spot to relax in the sun, with the estuary spread out before you and the boats puttering along the creek below.
It has benches, table and chairs in garden plus trees and lawn with steps to quay and beach. It also has a summer house with marvellous views, ideal for sitting or even snoozing when the weather isn't so warm.
