Nanteague is a quirky but luxury recently renovated chalet style cottage with beautiful sea views across a wooded valley to Falmouth Bay.

The front door leads into an open-plan sitting and dining area with adjacent kitchen and is floor tiled throughout.

The lounge area has a two-seat sofa, wicker armchair, a wall-mounted flame effect electric fire, 32” flat screen HD TV with Sky+ HD (including Sky Sports, Sky Movies, Catch-up TV, & Sky Movies on Demand), DVD player, telephone, and free WiFi internet.

Also downstairs is a large fully tiled bathroom that has a large double shower cubicle with powerful mixer shower, corner bath, WC, heated towel rail, and washbasin with shaver point and heated mirror.

Upstairs is the large eaves bedroom has limited headroom but has a feature Velux cabrio balcony window which opens out giving the impression of being on a balcony yet still in the room that enjoys uninterrupted views across the wooded valley to the sea. There is a 6' superking-size pocket sprung mattress bed with choice of summer or winter weight duvets, or single duvets if preferred, extra blanket and pillows, bathrobes, and hair dryer. Built-in wardrobe and shelving, wicker armchair, 23” Freeview flat screen TV, iPod dock, and cordless telephone.

Outside there are 2 small private lawn areas with table, chairs, patio umbrella, 2 reclining chairs, again with views down the valley and out across the bay. Nanteague is one of four converted farm buildings within a courtyard setting. The owners live in the other barn so are available to give advice and help at most times (including ferrying guests to the start of a one-way walk).

Within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Nanteague at Tregaminion is located between St Keverne and Porthallow Cove amongst farmland and woods. A rich variety of wildlife may be seen including barn owls, buzzards, woodpeckers and countless other birds, badgers and foxes and the resident Muscovy duck and occasional visiting Mallards and Moorhens! We provide binoculars in the property. On clear nights the lack of street lighting allows breathtaking views of the night-sky.

The footpath to Porthallow beach runs along the perimeter of the property through the woods and fields and takes about 10 minutes. In the other direction the path will leads to St Keverne - taking about 25 mins.

"Beautiful spot, immaculate cottage, a must!"

We had the pleasure of staying in this property early on in the season of 2012. The hosts were lovely and we couldn't wih for a better spot. It was so well cared for you really felt like you'd inherited a little bit of luxury. There is a walk from your door straight across fields to the local beach and do hve a meal at the local inn, really nice. The underfloor heating in the cottage was uch a bonus and don't mention the scones. If they could send me a batch every week or the rest of my days that ould be lovely. Also Roskillys fudge, Sarah left us some. We then went to the dairy (as its nearby) and purchased loads. All in all a great holiday and would love to go back one day!
