"Perfect cottage, perfect location if your wanting to get away from a busy life."
This cottage is a delight to stay in, it has everything you could wish for and more,it is very clean and beautifully decorated. Our hosts, Sarah and John, were so helpful with their knowledge of the area, and the cream tea and bottle of milk on arrival was very welcome after our long and hot journey.

"The Best Cottage Ever"
Where to begin, everything about Stable Cottage surpassed our already high expectations when we stayed for the very first time. It has become a great favourite and we have never been disappointed.
Everything about the cottage is immaculate, very tasteful and extremely well equipped to a very high specification. with a light and spacious feel. John and Sarah create a lovely helpful and friendly atmosphere with their thoughful touches of scones, flowers and even Cornish Cream and milk in the fridge on arrival.
We love this part of Cornwall and Stable Cottage with its beautiful gardens and picturesque views is the perfect place to stay.

"OUR FAVOURITE HOLIDAY LOCATION - MORE THAN 10 OUT OF 10!!"
We have stayed at Stable Cottage every May since 2010 and last year also stayed at Nanteague (another cottage at same location) in the September. This year, as with our previous 4 visits, all was perfect. John & Sarah are excellent hosts. The cottage is beautiful, always spotlessly clean (so important!) and the attention to detail, including those 'added touches', so seldom found in a self catering cottage, superb. The location and the cottage are even better than they seem in the photos. Beautiful gardens and beautiful views, quiet and tranquil....... a wonderful 'get away from it all' holiday. This location is close to the coast path for wonderful walks as well as lovely rural walks. Away from it all and totally peaceful if you just want to relax, yet close to all the Lizard peninsula and this part of Cornwall has to offer when you feel like venturing further - even the north coast is easily accessed. Our year is not complete without recharging our batteries here - reservation for 2014 already made!!
