We spent a wonderful week at Little Roscaddon Cottage in Manaccan. The cottage is really well equipped with a great living room and breakfast area which feels really homely. Both kitchens are very well equipped and the bedrooms were very roomy and comfortable.
There is a lovely garden area to sit out in and its location and setting make this a peaceful and private setting where you can really get away from it all.
We loved the walks along the country lanes and along the creek and would recommend the cottage as a base for any family or group that wants to do a bit of exploring of the Cornish countryside.
It is a short journey down to the Lizard peninsula, a hidden gem with glorious cliff side views. The Lizard peninsula itself feels like an unspoilt untouched part of Cornwall but it is easy to travel to other more well-known sites such as St. Ives, Penzance and Falmouth.
This is a great base from which to explore Cornwall; particularly some of the great gardens, such as Trebah, Glendurgan and Trevarno.
Would definitely recommend Little Roscaddon, this is our second time there and we plan to be back again in 2013.
