The boathouse looked freshly furnished, and had everything we needed, including a welcome pack in the kitchen. Although basically a single space(plus shower-room) the accommodation felt light and airy, with plenty of room for us two. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and offered suggestions for places to visit. Close to we enjoyed Loe Pool and Church Cove (Gunwalloe) and the quiet village of Gweek is ideally situated for trips to Lands End, The Lizard, St Ives & Falmouth areas. Very short walk to village shop and pub (Black Swan) serving good food! Full marks for providing an OS map of the area as well as the usual leaflets. |
