Holiday Cottages Yorkshire covers more than just Yorkshire. Our properties extend from the stunning Lake District with some of the most spectacular walks to be had between the mountains and lakes. Down to Lancashire and into the Yorkshire Dales with quaint villages and farmsteads. Into the Vale of York and into the majestic and unspoilt North York Moors and the Yorkshire Coast with the traditional seaside towns such as Whitby and Scarborough sure to the soul. Then down into the Peak District which is a rambler's heaven and naturalists delight. We have something to suit all tastes and budgets.
Helmsley is a picturesque location on the River Rye and with its pretty main street is a lovely place to stay. Half of the town is located in the North York Moors National Park as the boundary follows the main road. It provides a great location for exploring the Moors and the east coast.
