"Inspected property and did not stay"

The bedroom is simply not suitable and potentially quite dangerous with a very low ceiling (about 5 foot) , unforgiving concrete roof with the addition of two metal hooks. There is no blackout, littl… More

"Poor electrics and unclean"

The cooker and oven packed up when we arrived. We think maybe the circuit had been overloaded and this made us a bit wary of the rest of the electrics in the place. It wasn't very clean, the oven… More

We provided a full refund. we appreciate feedback from our guests however there are some inaccuracies. As soon as our guests arrived in the evening the hob unfortunately malfunctioned, we have replaced this the first morning of our guests stay. The oven was actually working I turned it on to show the guest how it worked and there is also a small halogen oven, and electric grill and microwave. The guest also thought that the hot water in the bathroom wasn't working but there was a safety switch turned off and it did work. The electric circuit has been tested and is working correctly.

Fresh clean bedding is always provided for each new guest. One oven and the area behind the settee had unfortunately been overlooked by our cleaner and we have sorted this issue out, the rest of the property was clean. Currently there is a small table in the kitchen for 2 people, there is also 2 extra folding chairs and a table and chairs in the garden. We are soon to put a bigger table in the kitchen.

As advertised unless you are under 5ft you cannot stand up in the bedroom, it is an enclosed mezzanine floor. We aim to provide an affordable and comfortable place to stay in Hebden Bridge, we are sorry for the unforeseen cleaning issue and the malfunction of the hob.

Thanks for your review, they are always welcome and enable us to respond to any issues raised.A step into the bedroom has now been added so its not a high step up and a lighted mirror has been put into the shower room.We have also put a chair in the bedroom. Unfortunately there is not much we can do about the bedroom ceiling height.
