Further details indoors:
Built in the 17th century the cottage has recently undergone complete refurbishment and offers very comfortable accommodation with a wealth of original features. Red Rose cottage is beautifully furnished to a high standard, and has breathtaking views of the Yorkshire countryside. Original beams, thick stone walls and original stone mullion windows are a feature of the property.
Red Rose cottage is the middle property, it is the original farmhouse and as such has larger rooms than White Rose, our other cottage. The spacious lounge has a large antique bookcase and a large original stone fireplace, complete with salt hole and oven! The spacious master bedroom has plenty of built-in wardrobes and the second bedroom has a kingsize bed that can be separated into two 3' beds if required. There is a fully fitted kitchen, separate utility room and ground floor toilet, upstairs are the bedrooms and a bathroom with 'olde worlde' slipper bath. The garden leads out from the lounge through the patio door and is sheltered and peaceful, with quality outdoor seating and table, and stunning panoramic views!
Further details outdoors:
The cottage is located in a private setting surrounded by its own 20 acres of fields, which is stunning, quiet, and no traffic noise!
Just across from our lovely holiday cottages is our family business Hebden Bridge Equestrian Centre, we offer riding lessons, showjumping and picturesque hacking on the moors. If you would like to horse ride please ask to speak to our daughters Tamzin or Zara who will be glad to help you make the most of your holiday or mini-break!
Further details
The owners Darren and Karen Clithero live in the end barn and so anything that you need we can hopefully help you with!
There is another property available to let next door, so that if you would like to travel with friends or extended family we can hopefully accommodate you all!

Northern England especially Lancashire and Yorkshire have a Long History of Industry.
There are many Historical Sites, Buildings and Places of Interest between the two important counties.
From Beautiful Stately Homes, Castles, Parklands and Pardens open to the public, to the Wild, Windswept Moors of the Bronte sisters fame, to Seaside Towns and Fishing Villages, and many Inland lakes, reservoirs and canals, the landscape and variety of scenery is varied, exciting and waiting to be explored!
Hebden Bridge train station is a lovely old fashioned station with coffee shop. There are direct trains to:
Leeds, a modern bustling city,
Manchester - home of the famous football club and Coronation Street!
Blackpool - the coastal playground of the north with it's famous Tower and Pleasure Beach amusement park!
York, one of the oldest cities in England with its impressive cathedral, and
Scarborough, Yorkshires seaside town.
Hebden Bridge is close to the Lake District making a day out 'at the lakes' an easy option.
