We are very proud of the accommodation we offer and have tried to think of everything that would make a stay with us something to be remembered. We have 3 cottages, Cragg Hall View, Hove Wood View and Victoria Wood View.

Each cottage is spacious and of an open plan design. Access is through either a single or double glass door which provides plenty of light and views down the valley.

Upstairs there are 2 good sized bedrooms, sleeping 4 adults comfortably. Both have fantastic views! The bathroom comprises a combined bath and shower cubicle with toilet and wash basin. There is plenty of storage space throughout.

Outside we provide a large lockable container which can be used to store bikes. It houses a sink with hot & cold water and hosepipe to wash off the days fun! Plenty of floodlit off road parking is provided within our gated yard and each property opens onto a paved patio with garden furniture to sit and enjoy the views.

Hebden Bridge

The captivating location of Cragg Vale

Set in Cragg Vale, an area of outstanding natural beauty near Hebden Bridge, our old stone building (which previously housed tractors and forestry equipment) has been transformed into three quality holiday cottages. The location of our cottages provides the perfect location , for a variety of stays, all year round.

Although an elevated position, the roads are gritted and kept clear through the winter months, allowing the steep-sided wooded valley, fabulous moor and woodland views to be enjoyed and experienced all year round!

Although "Cragg", as it is known locally, is secluded and peaceful, it is also a central location for visiting Yorkshire and Lancashire with road and direct rail links to Leeds and Manchester nearby.

300yds from the Calderdale Way and with numerous local walks, the cottages are ideal for people looking to explore the local countryside.

With direct access onto the longest continuous incline in England, cyclists can relish the challenge

of riding this difficult route up onto the heather clad moors.

Mountain bikers have their own set of demanding routes and this area is considered "A Nexus for mountain bikers" (Everyday Cycling Magazine).

The local moorland golf course offers some majestic views.

The local bus "The Cragg Flyer" stops just outside the cottages for journeys to Mytholmroyd (2miles), Hebden Bridge (4miles) or just down the road to a true local pub 'The Robin Hood'. The Hinchliffe Arms country restaurant and bar is also within walking distance.

The nearby town of Hebden Bridge has been described as "4th funkiest town in the world" and "most individual least cloned shopping in Britain" so it's got to be worth a look.

If you do feel like venturing out of the Pennine centre... the Bronte village of Haworth, Skipton, Bradford, Leeds, York and Manchester are all within easy reach!

Hebden Bridge

Wander the creative, bohemian streets of Hebden Bridge, and you can feel the influence of the writers and artists who flocked to the village around the 70s and 80s. From artisan shops and inspiring galleries to organic pavement cafés and charming picture houses, the town is justifiably proud of its artistic identity. And just a few moments away - pretty wooded valleys and picturesque heather moorland aplenty.

From trendy cafes to £4-50 roast dinners, skateboards to canal barges, theatre to street entertainment, gentle strolls to fell running, industrial heritage to alternative technology, art galleries to live music, poet laureate to open mic storytelling, double decker housing to outstanding natural beauty... Hebden Bridge has it all.
