A cosy, stylish home from home. No1 is an up to date conversion of an old cotton mill. Airy and full of light with high ceilings and south facing double height windows, this well equipped duplex mezzanine property is on a quiet, friendly cobbled street, seconds from town.

No1 is highly specified and well equipped, with a large vintage leather sofa from which to enjoy the digital HDTV and stereo or lose yourself in a book (of which there are hundreds inside), there is broadband internet, Eames and Noguchi furniture, king size bed and a bedroom that echoes bygone bohemian days with Turkish rugs, kilims, camel bags, Moroccan lighting (plus a 40 inch HDTV and home cinema soundsystem, they didn't have these in tents). The bathroom is perfectly proportioned, with bath, power shower, new boiler, illuminated bathroom cabinet and power for shaver and toothbrush. There is also a gnome fishing in there (!).

No1 is ideal for singles, couples or young families, kids can sleep on a double futon and are very welcome.

Free, dedicated parking for two cars. Bike storage inside. Easy access via keysafe. Bookings for three days to extended stays.

We are LGBTQ friendly and offer special prices for singles.
