About this location
The East Anglia region
Famously the driest county in the UK, the North West Norfolk coast is well known for its spectacular sunsets as it is the only place on the East Coast where the sun sets over the sea (The Wash). Lots of activities for all ages from walking, cycling, golf, water sports at nearby Hunstanton, sailing as well as offering superb beaches for family holidays. The area has lots of pubs serving delicious food and Burnham Market is only a few miles away for those in need of a fix of retail therapy.
Heacham is a thriving living village offering a wealth of shops from butchers, bakers, fishmongers, bakers, a library and a good bus service to King's Lynn and the Coast Hopper which is great for jumping on and off all the way to Cromer. There are 3 pubs offering food and one even has its own micro brewery on site.
Heacham Beach stretches for miles and the energetic can walk to Hunstanton along the prom.
