About the home

The property is situated directly on the sea front at Hayling Island with two balconies giving 180 degree panoramic views of the Isle of White and the Solent.

There is no vehicular access possible between the property and the beach. The Flat overlooks the beach allowing parents to monitor children from the comfort of the balconies.

Facilities

The main bedroom has a King sized double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 as a bunk bed comprising a standard double on the base and a standard single on top. There is one bathroom with a shower fitting above, sink and WC. The living room is the main attraction of the flat having two small balconies accessed by full length glazed double doors providing 180 degree views across the solent from the Spinnaker Tower in the west, the Isle of Wight in the south across to West Wittering in the East. The property has free WiFi included.

Further details outdoors:
There are two body boards and two skim boards available. There also assorted golf clubs available for use at either the pay-and-play course at Tournerbury or the par 3 course at the west end of the island. The beach at Hayling in mainly small pebbles and stones although there are small areas of sand uncovered at low tide. Beach shoes are strongly recommended.

Conditions

We ask for a 20% deposit to secure the booking with the balance paid 6 weeks prior to your stay. Bookings taken within 6 weeks will be required to be paid in full. Payment by cheque please in GBP. A damage deposit of £200 is required which will be returned at the end of your stay after the apartment has been cleaned and checked.

Hayling Island is located close to Chichester Harbour, Emsworth, Bosham, Chichester, West Wittering, Historic Portsmouth, Gunwharf Quays.

The Hayling Island / Eastoke area

Locally available on the island is Tournerbury golf course, Hayling Island par 3 golf course, Hayling Island Sailing club (day sailing permits available for non-members), ferry access to Southsea (foot passengers and bicycles only) and Beachlands funfair. The Island is very popular for the watersports enthusiast with windsurfing and kite-boarding mainly to the west of this island next to the 'Inn on the beach' bar / restaurant. There is also ample opportunity for walking on the seafront.

Hayling Island is reached by a toll free bridge less than 5 minutes from the southernmost end of the A3(M). There is free parking available at Beach Court for 2 cars.

There are very good public transport links from Havant railway station which has frequent mainline services from London. Regular bus services run straight past the front door of the flat, approximately every 15 minutes during the day, less frequently in the evenings and on Sundays.
