The Cornwall region
St Ives-Catch the train around the bay and enjoy the fantastic views. Wander through the old cobbled streets and sample some of the wonderful restaurants and cafes not forgetting that all important cream tea! You'll find quaint shops and a beautiful sandy beach which is great for relaxation or for the more active surfing lessons are available!
Hayle- From the chalet you can walk into hayle where you can take in the views of the stunning estuary with its wildlife. You'll find Mr B's ice cream parlour or try the fantastic traditional cornish pasties at Philps.
There are some great free attractions including nearby including Tehidy park (woodland) and Heartlands (hands on museum for children).
Other attractions in the area include Eden project, Flambards, Godrevy lighthouse, Gweek seal sanctuary, The Minack Theatre, Paradise park, the Blue Reef aquarium and Newquay Zoo. Surfing lessons can also be purchased locally.
There are quite a few beautiful national trust sites nearby. St Michaels Mount is a good day out with lots of history and depending on the tide you may need to get the boat across and then return walking across the causeway which the kids love. A trip to lands end is always a must as is having your picture taken next to that famous sign!
There really is something for everyone in this beautiful area of West Cornwall.

"Home away from home"
Lovely spacious chalet. The only downside would be the molds on two bedrooms. Heaters and dehumidfiers are provided anyways. We had a great time, good base for exploring these part of cornwall. Tha… More
Thank you for your kind review. We're glad you liked the chalet although we were a little disappointed to hear about the mould in the bedrooms. Unfortunately due to our location and no central heating damp air is inevitable at times. We do stress to guests to keep the chalet well ventilated especially when bathing/cooking by venting windows to help prevent any damp occuring. As you mentioned we also provide a dehumidifier and heaters to keep this to a minimum. The cleaning staff normally ensure the property is mould free ready for every guest and we're sorry if this wasn't the case on this occassion. We have raised this with the onsite team. We'd love to welcome you back if you visit the area in the future. Kind Regards Emma & Andy.

"Brilliant chalet, clean, comfortable, inviting, fully equipped in great location"
This a lovely chalet on a quiet, well maintained chalet park, close to a gorgeous sandy beach. This is the second time we've stayed on this park, but the first in this chalet. Its bright, cheerful, well-equipped, with plenty of space and modern furnishings and decor but with a seaside feel. The owners also left a box of games and puzzles for the kids. We will be using it again! Nice little Spar shop just off site for bits and bobs and a Lidl and Co-op in Hayle (An asda is being built and is due to open later this year).
Hayle is a great base for exploring Cornwall. We visited St Ives (get the train from St Erth) Lands End, National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, St Micheal's Mount Penzance, Pendennis Castle Falmouth to name but a few.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments. We're really glad you had an enjoyable stay and look forward to welcoming you again soon. Kind Regards Emma & Andy.

"Location perfect, accommodation a bit of a let down!"
Have just returned from a week here with my family. The location is faultless - probably one of the nicest beaches I have ever seen in this country. Hayle is an ideal base to visit several other po… More
Thank you for your comments regarding our chalet. With reference to cleaning products we are limited as to what we can leave within the chalet due to health and safety. Our chalet is thoroughly cleaned at the end of each let and most guests do expect to bring along their own basic supplies as with most self catering holidays. We do provide a supply of sponges for guest use and there should normally be washing up liquid, hob cleaner, disinfectant spray in case of pet accidents and a bar of soap in the bathroom. We also provide a toilet brush, vacuum cleaner as well as a dustpan, brush, mop and bucket. We do strive to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay in our chalet and are making ongoing improvements having only purchased the chalet this year. We are glad that you enjoyed the area and all of it's delights. Kind Regards Emma & Andy

"Brilliant Holiday, Fantastic Site"
This chalet is lovely, its a few minutes walk from the most gorgeous beach, there is a little play area just outside the chalet door. The whole site is really clean and family friendly. Lots of children's play areas, which were really important with a 6 and 4 year old.
The location is fabulous, its a short train ride from St Ives (which the kids loved) a few minutes from St Michaels Mount, and various other well known cornish locations.
Cornwall itself is gorgeous and is a must to visit at some point in your lifetime.
Would definitely look to re-book.
Thank you you for your comments regarding your holiday. Having recently purchased the chalet we are keen to make improvements and hear guests feedback. We are glad you had an enjoyable stay and hope you will consider staying with us again if you visit Cornwall in the future. Kind Regards Emma & Andy
