'Anneth Lowen' is the middle bungalow of a row of three in the lovely grounds of "Tolroy Holiday Village".

The bungalow is a sturdy brick built dwelling with two bedrooms,1 double & 1 twin bedded. It has everything you should need for a warm, comfortable self catering holiday, including a microwave and television. Just bring your own towels! Everything else is provided for your comfort and convenience.

Sorry, no pets allowed in 'Anneth Lowen'.

The site facilities are open from March to the end of October only.

Sorry, but short breaks are not normally accepted during peak season, ( school summer holidays).

Hayle and St. Ives - Hayle's superb uncrowded beach - 3 miles of golden sand backed by extensive rolling dunes - is a few minutes' drive away, as is the famous estuary with its varied bird life and nature reserve. Also in Hayle is "Cornwall's Family Attraction of the year": Paradise Park Bird Garden. St. Ives is just five miles distant, with its own beautiful beaches, fascinating shops, art galleries (including the Tate), cafés and restaurants.

Further Afield - There are numerous top-class visitor attractions, including glorious gardens, many theme parks, tin mines and historic houses. Within easy driving distance are Helston (home of the famous Floral Dance, every May), Penzance, Land's End, St. Michael's Mount, and The Lizard. For a wonderful day out there is the Eden Project, the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, or the open air Minack Theatre with its spectacular cliff top views over Porthcurno and the coastline.

"Cornwall is great, this bungalow most definitely isn't."

We would like to respond to your comments.

Our holiday bungalow is always cleaned to an extremely high standard & a great deal of time & effort is put into the finishing touches, as indeed our previous excellent reviews show. Therefore we highly dispute the fact that it was 'smelly & moldy' upon entering. The definition of 'mold' is a fungus growing upon surfaces, this simply isn't the case.

We have a dehumidifier which we recommend visitors leave running. The windows in the bungalow are single glazed & as such can, & indeed do, become condensated, the dehumidifier will rectify this. The dehumidifier isn't silent (they seldom are) however this hasn't caused any issues previously.

The bungalow is a 'holiday home' a base to use when travelling in the area. It is compact & well equipped with all you need for your holiday. The booking price also includes access to all onsite facilities. The pictures on our pages are, I believe, a true representation of the size & layout of the property.

The double bed is a small double (4ft) which has been found as adequate for holiday use & is widely available to purchase in retail outlets.

Storage of cases can be problematic be it at home or abroad, however, storing them in an available space (on an unused bed for example) is normally acceptable during a holiday.

The french doors are due to be replaced & in order to save our visitors the inconvenience of not being able to close them, we have noted it in our 'welcome notes'.


Upon booking our bungalow all guests are provided with our mobile number. If contacted we will happily try to rectify any problems or issues our guests should encounter.

Our aim is to provide 'good value accommodation' for small families & couples on a friendly site within easy access of all that Cornwall has to offer.

I can only apologise that our standards did not meet with your approval & that it prompted you to write such a negative review.
