"Fantastic peaceful location, clean and modern with very helpful hosts."
You know within a few seconds of arriving if your accommodation meets your expectations, well this one certainly did !
Tony and Charlotte have done a great job of building these three wooden lodges overlooking the lake.
On Arrival we were greeted by Tony and Charlotte who showed us how all the appliances worked especially the hot tub (which was a big hit for the children). They had proved a couple of bottles of wine, tea & coffee and biscuits (Plus coal for the bbq). The accommodation consisted of a lounge dinner, two bedrooms (master on-suite) and a family bathroom. Each bedroom had a tv/dvd, plus the tv/dvd in the lounge (with a selection of dvd's in the cupboard). Kitchen had a dishwasher and washer/tumbler drier in the utility/hall way (plus clothes airier in your own hedged off garden. Access to the grounds is by a gated keypad entry which then leads to your own parking space next to the lodge. So it felt very safe and secure.
We were lucky enough to watch the kingfisher and the regular visits of the swallows and buzzards while soaking in the hot tub after a our trips out.
We'd definitely book here again and would higher recommend staying here.
