The Powys/Brecon Beacons region
The Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is an internationally important protected landscape straddling the border between England and Wales. It is one of the most dramatic and scenic landscape areas in southern Britain.
The Black Mountains (Welsh: Y Mynyddoedd Duon) are a group of hills spread across parts of Powys and Monmouthshire in southeast Wales, and extending across the national border into Herefordshire, England. They are the easternmost of the four ranges of hills that comprise the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The Brecon Beacons National Park was established in 1957. It was the tenth area in England and Wales to be given such status. The National Park is a playground for tourists and outdoor enthusiasts alike, but you don't have to run up mountains before breakfast to enjoy what it has to offer.
A totally idyllic area from which to enjoy a range of activities in the area, such as walking, riding, cycling, canoeing, white water rafting, climbing, or just browsing the bookshops in the world famous book town, Hay-on-Wye. Of course you can just come and enjoy a peaceful break in rural secluded surroundings or explore many miles of national parks.
Premier Lodges are thoughtfully situated on separate parts of a free-range livestock farm, with their own private driveways so that holidaymakers can enjoy privacy and seclusion. Nestled just below the ridge of Clyro Hill, the lodges have spectacular views of Hay Bluff, the Black Mountains and the Wye Valley, whilst enjoying the shelter of nearby oak and ash trees.

"Great location, view, lodge and very accomodating hosts!!!"
Fantastic views of the countryside and mountains from the lodge. Tony and Sally were extremely helpful and generous! The location is great only a short drive to Hay on Wye, local pubs and activities. The farm was lovely, thank you for letting us feed the lambs and wonder around the farm. Great location if you want to get away from it all! We'll be back!
I'm so pleased you had a great time and enjoyed the views from your lodge. We would love to welcome you again. ~ Sally

"Excellent accommodation and view!"
If you're looking for a rural location with a fantastic view - go no further! The log cabin is situated with views across to the mountains. I can not recommend both the location and the cabin highly enough. Everything was perfect and Sally and Tony (the owners) made us feel very comfortable and welcomed us to take a look around the farm and to enjoy the horses. I can't wait to go back again.
Many thanks for your review. We really appreciate it. We look forward to seeing you and your friends again.
