Thank you for your comments both here and in the visitors book. We are pleased you had a lovely Christmas. Apologies for the oven that although new, was supplied with only one shelf. An oversight by ourselves and we have now ordered another one.

"Perfect cosy cottage for a couple"
We loved our two night stay at Ty Bychan. Conveniently located on Church Street just metres from the centre of town, the cottage is the perfect size for two. Best bits for us: the woodburner which creates such a lovely atmosphere in the evenings, generous provision of firewood (though for further guests might be good to leave a note of where to buy top up wood, as we struggled on Sunday afternoon), and the enormous, super-comfortable bed. Hay itself is really lovely - especially the castle ruins and all the quirky shops. Would recommend the handmade pizzas at the Three Tuns pub near the river. Also canoeing from Glasbury to Hay was a really nice way to spend a couple of hours.
