Forming one of two beautiful cottages that have been lovingly restored from a traditional barn, Roof Stones provides luxurious accommodation in an idyllic setting close to the popular market town of Hawes. Combining charm with character, this exceptional property boasts features such as exposed stone walls, a log burning stove and exposed beams to provide cosy and welcoming accommodation for six guests and two pets. The accommodation is spread over two floors, with the ground floor boasting a comfortable lounge with wood burning stove and a well equipped kitchen/diner with furniture for six. The first floor benefits from three homely bedrooms, two doubles (one with en-suite and king size bed) and a twin, as well as a separate bathroom and an additional shower room. Roof Stones can also be booked in conjunction with Ground Stones to accommodate 14 guests in total and both of these properties enjoy shared access to a games room and utility facilities. Both properties also enjoy scenic views and private rock gardens complete with fruit trees, BBQ and bench seating.

All fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. Pets maximum allowed. 1st pet is free the 2nd pet is charged at £20 per pet per week.

Hawes

Roof Stones enjoys a picturesque setting overlooking the Wensleydale Fells, moors and the River Ure and boasts marvellous countryside views. Peacefully situated on the edge of the historical market town of Hawes, visitors can enjoy a peaceful yet convenient location close to all of the essential local amenities. Hawes itself is famous for its cobbled streets, rope makers and Wensleydale Cheese factory attracting visitors all year round. The town also boasts a number of independent shops, craft workshops, tea rooms, cosy pubs and local restaurants for visitors to enjoy. Other attractions in nearby areas include the famous Asygarth falls, the Dales Countryside Museum, the Old Hawes Railway Station and the nearby Hardraw Force waterfall, all providing fun filled days out for the whole family to enjoy. Attracting visitors all year round, Hawes is an excellent base for a peaceful retreat to the countryside or an action packed walking holiday, with the Pennine Way also passing through the town.
