The Stable was converted from a barn into a charming cottage set in a stunning location surrounded by open fields and pastures, one & a half miles west of the market town of Hawes in picturesque Upper Wensleydale. Original flag stones cover the ground floor. The accommodation comprises an entrance porch, open plan kitchen/dining/ living room. Downstairs cloakroom with toilet & wash basin. Staircase to an airy upper level with original beamed ceilings. One double bedroom, one single bedroom and bathroom comprising cubicle shower, bath, wash basin & toilet. We take great pride in providing very clean & comfortable accommodation & are rewarded with many repeat visitors. We always give our customers some of our own free range eggs on arrival along with a welcome hospitality tray of drinks. There are Patio areas both at the front & back of the property with table, chairs & parasol & ample adjacent safe parking.

Upper Wensleydale is a beautiful area to explore either by car, bicycle or on foot. There are varied attractions to suit everyone, waterfalls, castles, art galleries, local crafts, museums, follies, local cheese making & ice cream parlours. There are varied catering establishments to suit every pallet, from tea rooms to first class restaurants. During the summer months there are local agricultural shows in many villages and other fun events to attend.


There are walks to suit everyone from the occasional rambler to those who prefer clambering up the fells. Whatever the weather the views are spectacular from dale to dale, season to season, the peace and tranquility of the dales will help you to relax & unwind.
