The West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Pembrokeshire region

Nolton Haven is situated in the centre of St Brides bay on the West Pembrokeshire Coast and in the National Park. It is a small hamlet which is clustered around a large cove

The beach is very good, sandy between cliffs. The Mariners Hotel overlooks the cove and good meals and bar snacks are available.

Newgale two miles north of Norton Haven is a superb surfing beach, nearly three miles long with perfect sand.

Druidston, one mile south is one of the best beaches but has poor parking facitities, however it is a lovely cliff walk. Above is the druidson hotel, a must for meals, but especialy to see the magnificent panarama of St Brides Bay.

Pembrokeshire is unique in its scenery and history. it is a peninusula washed on three sides by the warm waters of the gulf stream. The coast has more sunshine than any other in mainland Britian.

The coastal scenes are unrivaled, with spectacular cliffs alternating with little coves and sandy beaches, Norton Haven is just one such cove

Laugharne the birth place of the famous poet Dylan Thomas.is about an hours drive away and a great place of interest to visit

A short drive along the coast brings you to the small village of Solva, then a little futher along you reach St Davids which is famous for its cathredral

A trip to Ramsey island to see the monks is fun for all.

Sent by e mail Hello Carol, Just a brief e mail to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at fern lea, the weather could not have been better, the scenery along the coastal walks was breathtaking and the secluded beaches were almost deserted, we walked the coastal path(in stages) from Broad Haven all the way to St davids. We hope the bungalow was in the same condition as we found it. I am sure we will visit again.
Thank you
