The Cottage is near a foot path leading to the coastal path, great for walkers, to enjoy the fantastic Pembrokeshire coast.Private land accessible on the coast. The Blue flag awarded Whitesands Beach is only 5 minutes by car and Abereiddy Beach and the blue lagoon, a must see for visitors is a few miles in the other direction.St.Davids Cathedral is 3 miles away and many visitors and pilgrims alike come to see the magnificent 12th century Cathedral and Bishop's Palace. Newgale beach is 15 minutes away. The cottage is ideally situated to sight see all the northern area places of interest, Preseli Hills, Pentre Ifan(standing stones)Nevern Church (the bleeding tree) Cenarth Falls etc.

Pembrokeshire has a mild climate. The cottage is in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the only coastal park in the UK. St.Davids is the birthplace of Wales's patron saint, and recognised as the Uk's smallest city., because of the site of the historic 12th century cathedral. There are restaurants, craft shops and galleries, and places of interest for all ages. St.Davids has its own Golf course, near famous Whitesands beach now with a new cafe facilities. Newgale beach is a large expanse of sands on the St.Davids to Haverfordwest road with magnificent views, a favourite with families and surfers.
Haverfordwest area
Haverfordwest is the nearest town for shopping and transport links.Pembrokeshire has a County Agricultural Show only the second biggest in Wales, every August. St.Davids has the Cathedral Festival every June, and attract visitors from all over the Uk.There are lots of leaflets about things to do and places to visit in the cottage.There is a cycle route at the end of the road which follows the coast and is signposted.
How to get there
To drive directions are; M4 motorway to A48 Carmarthen, then A40 to Haverfordwest, and A487 to St.Davids. Hertz Car Hire in Fishguard. Sealink Ferries at Fishguard Harbour.
