From the owner

Our large (6.5 metres long x 4.2 metres wide x 2.4 metres high) pre-erected and fully equipped tent is ready to use and sleeps four in two or three bedrooms. We regret we only accept children aged 7 and over.

Kitchen

There is a fully equipped cooking area to include a kitchen unit, double burner hob, electric fridge box, pots, pans, frying pan, cups, saucers or mugs, plates, bowls, knives, forks, spoons and many other kitchen utensils. There's also a coffee maker or kettle as you wish and a water container with tap.

Lounge/Dining Area

The lounge/dining area has a table and chairs and low "coffee table".

Bedrooms

There are two bedrooms each with two single beds and pillows;we have the following items for hire:

Towel sets (bath sheet and hand towel) - €10,00 per set per stay

Sleeping bags - €10,00 each per stay

Gas and electricity are included.

Porch/Outside

The tent has a large porch area if you need shade and there is an outside space as well with plenty of shade for the hot days. You can park beside the tent. Mains electricity and bottled gas is included.

We are also just 1 hour from Limoges Airport and 1.5 hours from Bergerac Airport which both have budget airlines Ryanair and Flybe flights from many UK airports; we are happy to come and collect you from the airport for a small charge.

We are in a tranquil setting just 3km from Hautefort with museums that will tell you the history of the area...well worth a visit.

If you crave more activity then, nearby, you can enjoy canoeing, cycling, horse-riding, quad-biking and even a hot air balloon trip ! Hautefort Château dates from the 17th century, has magnificent views of the Auvézère Valley and is open to the public.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Michael (the owner) a message.

    If Michael (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
