Domaine Du Crouzille is a magnificent house set in 5 hectares of it's own very private grounds.The house is 2 minutes from Tourtoirac, 5 minutes from Chateau Hautefort and close to the historic market towns of Montignac, Perigueux. There are lots of activities for the children-cycling, hiking, horseriding, canoeing, exploring historic caves, swimming. Local restaurants are in Tourtoirac, St Agnan, Hautefort and Exideuil.Within the house there is a giant media room,table tennis and table football for children.In the grounds is the fabulous swimming pool with electric cover,trampoline and football nets.In nearby Exideuil there is a driving range with a 27 hole golf course soon to be opened.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region

The Dordogne area is not only beautiful because of the unspoilt countryside but has many interesting places to visit..The house is close to the charming city of Perigueux and town of Excideuil Within a short drive is also the fortified castle at Pompadour with its racecourse,Chateau Jumilhac and it's gardens which are open all year,Montignac and the Lascaux II caves..Also within reach are the famous towns of Sarlat,Beynac and Brantome.

Hautefort area

The magnificent Chateau Hautefort was once a medieval fortress .It is perched on top of a hill and a great place for all the family to visit.Locally, Hautefort ,Exideuil,Montignac all have weekly local markets.Montignac is a very pretty village which also has the Lascaux caves nearby as an attraction.Perigueux has a big market every week and is a lovely city with a fantastic selection of restaurants set among cobbled streets and squares .For children there is canoeing,horseriding,fantastic walks ,a trampoline and a driving range.

Ryanair from Stansted to Limoges and Bergerac -1 hour drive

Flybe from Southampton to Limoges or Bergerac.

A number of airlines-easyjet, BA, Flybe to Bordeaux -1 and half hour drive

The Maison de Maitre is arranged over three floors.There are three different seating areas-the extremely spacious grand salon,a cosy petit salon and lastly a fantastic games and media room.The master bedroom spans the width of the house and has uninterrupted views over rolling countryside.It has adjoining his and her bathroomsThere are a further five large bedrooms ,three have en suite and two share a bathroom. There is an eat in kitchen as well as the more formal dining area.Lastly there is a large terrace which is set up above the pool with barbeque,dining table and lounge seating.

Further details outdoors:
There is a huge terrace ideal for barbeques with wonderful South, East and West facing views. To the left of the house, again with captivating views, is the heated swimming pool.

Conditions

Strictly no smoking except on balcony. Refundable breakages deposit of 10% of rental on arrival to be refunded within 2 weeks of holiday ending. Property not suitable for children under three. Breakfast could be catered at extra cost.
