About the home

In a wilderness overlooking the Di Vallee U Golu and the village of Castirla, is a charming apartment, very comfortable 70 sqm, with a terrace of 145sqm and private garden. In the heart of Corsica 8 km from Corte, you can spread quickly through the island of beauty.
The House was built in 1930 made of stone it is a very well known in the area for it s beauty.

A spacious apartment, with access to the terrace from the front door. The terrace is shaded by grape vine and the view is overlooking the mountains and the village itself. Very quite and peaceful.

Corte which is 10 minutes from the apparently, offers the Vallee de la Restonica, its river and paths (30 min from the house) to achieve the high-altitude lakes of Melua and Capitelu.

Only 4 km you can taste the joys of swimming in the river U Golu, which winds through the majestic gorges of the Scala Santa Regina just 10 mins away. If you continue your journey you will discover the Niolu and peaceful lake Calacuccia in less than 25 mins. The rest of the ride will lead you in the heart of the forest Valdoniellu to succeed, but passed Vergio, the beautiful bay of Porto and the famous Calanches de Piana.

You can decide to go to sea on the beautiful range Ostriconi 40 mins drive in Balagne which will lead you to the seaside resorts of Ile-Rousse and Calvi.

The nearest restaurant is 2 km, it is renowned for its cuisine, offering typical Corsican dishes. We suggest using the unique little train of Corsica which stops in Corte and can lead to Ajaccio or Bastia or Calvi, to discover the magnificent scenery of Corsica.

The Corsica region

The village is situated in the centre of corse , easy access to all main routes for Calvi , Corte, Porto Ajaccio , Porto Vecchio.

It is picturesque with it s 15th century Chapel. River U Golo nearby where fishing, swimming and other activities. Also a tennis court at the bottom of the village just 35 mins walk. Many activities un the summer it s Local Foyer Communale is open where you can enjoy a drink watching the sunset.
