Surrounded by fields and beautiful views of Dartmoor and West Devon Pressland House presents the perfect place to base yourself for an exploration of the far South West of England.
Nuthatch has undergone a full refurbishment and finished to the highest standards and offers clean and comfortable accommodation - something a little different for your stay away from home.
Centrally located, Pressland House is a great place to base yourself should you wish to explore parts of Devon and Cornwall that are off-the-beaten-track, immerse yourself in the countryside and truly wonderful North Cornish/Devon beaches and coastline (outstandingly beautiful) or enjoy the great visitor attractions dotted around the South West. Only 35 minutes from the North Cornish and Devon coasts, 10 minutes from the A30 and Dartmoor and 40 minutes from Exeter Cathedral and City Centre.

The West Country / Devon region
Beautiful Cornish beaches, gently rolling Devonshire hills and miles of lush English countryside make our landscape heaven for anyone who loves the great outdoors.
The Hatherleigh area
Tarka Country is situated in the heart of northern Devon. This area of the south west of England embraces a stunning variety of countryside, including rolling farmland, rugged coast and wild moors. Henry Williamson based his classic novel 'Tarka the Otter' on actual locations in northern Devon.
Every Tuesday the town comes to life with its flourishing market consisting of a small mammals and poultry auction, good local produce, homemade cakes, and a household auction for all your bargins and much more.
BBC's SpringWatch was filmed for a couple of years only a few miles from here and has been the location of other big TV and Film events including Jam & Jerusalem and recently Steve Spielberg's take on the novel and play 'Warhorse' by local author Michael Morpurgo.
