Lovely courtyard and garden, unrestricted parking,two bedrooms and fold up bed, Kitchen diner, living room and bathroom,which is down stairs, all decorated very neutral, two leather sofas in living room which seat 5, with tv, dvd and freeview,radio cd player also a log effect fire.

The South East England / Sussex region

South East England is said to have some of the warmest and dryest weather in the uk, it is part of 1066 country which is famed for the Battle of Hasting, the Abbey is a short drive away in the historic town of Battle.

The beaches in Sussex go on for ever and ever. Many interesting and entertaining towns are easy accessible from Hastings, either by train car,or bus. The town of Rye (which is famed for having the most haunted pub in England) Brighton with its old fashioned "laines" that you can stroll round all day Worthing and Eastbourne, the shopping at Eastbourne is very good.

There is also a large indoor play park for the children, should the weather be wet or cold. Rye has a golf course, and there are at least two national trust parks close by for you to visit. Alexandra Park Starts at the bottom of the road, you can play tennis, watch the boating lake or just go for a very long stroll. There is also fishing in one of the large water ponds in the park.

Hastings / West hill area

The house is a short walk from "West Hill", which has a cliff lift that takes you down into the old town "George Street", which has plenty of restaurants, pubs and quirky shops, the beach is just across the road, in the town you have a modern shopping centre. Other attractions are Smugglers Cove, Blue Reef Sealife Centre, boating lake, pitch and put, trampolines, funfair and amusements. Further along toward St Leonards there is the pier and the new White Rock Theatre, which hosts many up to date shows, and tribute bands.There is also a large indoor play area for the children.

How to get there

By car M25 just past jnct 5 take A21 signposted Hastings. Stay on the A21 all the way into Hastings, once there go straight over two mini roundabouts, at the third turn left into St Helens road, keep going past Alexandra park, at next roundabout turn left into Elphinstone road, keep going up the hill bear ing right at sharp bend ,that leads to the house.Just before the brow of the hill you are there. There are two freeviews and dvd players,situated in the living room and double bedroom, there is a library of dvds for you to watch if you wish, there is a cd/ radio in the living room with a selection of cd's for you to enjoy. There is also a portable dvd player and PS2 supplied for your use.

The courtyard has a barbeque and furniture, past that there are a few steps leading to a lawned area with fantastic views over Hastings.

We have left a welcome pack for you with takeaway menus, brochures giving you things to do in the area, and a comments book so that you can put your comments in , it would be helpful to other guests if you find a great place to visit or eat at, and for you to tell us if we have not thought of something.

No smoking in the house but of course outside is fine.
No Pets Please
No stag or Hens.

25% of holiday cost due when booked remainder due six weeks before start date, if last minute booking the full amount is due immediately

We don't supply linen or towels so you will need to take your own.

If you would like any other variation on the above if we can we will accommodate.

There will be a 20 pound surcharge for heating and electric.

There will be no breakage deposit, if the odd piece of china gets broken its an accident no need for charging, but please let us know so we can replace anything that has been broken.

Only rented out for full week (5or7 days) in school holidays.
