This bungalow is a perfect country getaway with all the conveniences of being near historic Harrogate with its fascinating tourist attractions. Its a great base to explore Harrogate, Leeds, York and the beautiful surrounding countryside and charming villages. It has achieved a five star rating from Visit Britain.
The interior of the bungalow has been professionally interior designed and the refurbishment has just been completed, to a very high standard. The kitchen breakfast room is fully fitted with fabulous range cooker, and charming antique table and chairs. The open plan living dining room is hugely spacious and very comfortable, with a long refectory table and bags of comfy seating. French doors open out onto the front garden. There are two big double bedrooms, one with chic en-suite shower room, and both have French doors that open out onto the back garden. The third bedroom is a good sized single. The house bathroom is stylish and comprises a shower and bath. There is a separate WC with washbasin. This bungalow is furnished with antiques and impeccably presented with gorgeous linens, curtains. Every detail is beautiful.
The garden is beautiful with mature trees and lots of lawn, perfect for enjoying lazy dinners on the patio, or soaking up the summer sun.

One of the double bedrooms has a six foot zip lock bed which can be broken down into two singles if a twin room is preferred.
There is a separate utility area in the garage where the washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer with an additional work surface and lots of storage, which frees up the kitchen to be used just for food preparation and enjoyment.

There are steps leading into both the front and back doors of the property and from all the French doors, but once inside the property is well laid out for wheelchair users.

Pannal is a small village on the south side of Harrogate. It has an excellent rail service to both Leeds (25mins) and York (40mins).
Leeds is a busy modern metropolis with fabulous shopping, museums and entertainments. York is a fascinating historic city, with beautiful minster, charming cobbled streets and the informative Yorvick Centre.
The Yorkshire countryside is famed for its beauty, and it is a fantastic area to explore on foot, with sites of interest such as Almscliffe Crag and Brimham Rocks nearby. Further afield there are fabulous walks on the North Yorkshire or Ilkley Moors.
Other towns or places of interest include, Ilkley, Skipton, Saltaire, the Salt Mills at Bradford, if you have a car you can drive to the Lake District in a couple of hours.
The Harrogate / Pannal area
Harrogate is a famous spa town and conference centre and attracts a huge number of visitors every year, regular attractions there include The Great Yorkshire Show, Harrogate Flower Show and the twice yearly Northern Art and Antiques Fair.
Harrogate has a great social scene, a thriving theatre and busy schedule of concerts, there are excellent restaurants, bars and the shopping is fantastic. The Royal Horticultural Society also have fabulous gardens at Harlow Carr
There are lots of stately homes and sites of interest in the surrounding area including Harwood House, Ripley Castle, Fountains Abbey, Bolton Abbey, Knaresborough town and for children there is a theme park at Lightwater Valley.

Leeds Bradford airport flies to over 70 national and international destinations, the providers include BMI, Jet2, Ryanair and KLM.
Pannal has a small train station with regular services, one or two an hour, to both Leeds (25 mins) and York (40mins), the York services all stop at Harrogate and Knaresborough. Both York and Leeds have excellent rail connections to London and Scotland, along with various other destinations throughout the UK.
Hull is the nearest ferry port, Newcastle and Liverpool are also within fairly easy reach.

We really enjoyed our stay at pinecroft. The house is beautiful and extremely cosy, lots of space and everything we needed was provided. It was a real treat to stay for the weekend and we all wished we had booked a longer stay. |
