Beautiful Yorkshire stone cottage (new for March 2013). Following the success of our other cottage The Old Dairy, we decided to convert another part of our property back to it's original structure - a pretty cottage for 2. The 2 properties are ideal for 2 couples who like to holiday together but prefer their own space.

This beautiful Yorkshire stone barn conversion is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our ethos is 'Affordable Luxury' and our guests comfort is a priority. The cottage has a log burning stove which creates not only a cosy warm environment but a lovely atmosphere. We have tried to think of and provide you with all the lovely comforts of home such as WiFi, Freeview TV, DVD player, fluffy towels and robes and a gorgeous bed with pocket sprung mattress.

Peace and quiet are guaranteed in this rural setting - a real get away destination but easily accessible to many of the treasures Yorkshire has to offer.

Our reservation policy is very flexible - book in when you like and leave when you like. We don't insist on set days for short breaks to start and end.

Self catering does not always mean you have to cook for yourselves. We have a 5 star hygiene certificate from the Food Service Advisory Service so we can cook freshly prepared evening meals. Please ask for the current seasonal menu.

The Courtyard is luxurious and the attention to detail is stunning. Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels, log burner, dishwasher, drinks chiller and a really smart coffee machine are just a few of the treats in store. We have combined the charm of a traditional cottage with the contemporary styling.

The comfortable and spacious property provides a perfect environment for a relaxing and special holiday.

"Great cottage for a couple"

"Lovely cottage with everything you could need"

Out two night stay at the cottage was excellent. The cottage is beautifully decorated and contains everything you could need for a relaxing stay. It was lovely to have somewhere that was just for two people, often you end up spending more for what are poorer quality cottages. The customer service we received from Dawn was more than we could have asked and I would urge anyone to take up the catering option. The food was wonderful and she even takes the dishes away!

The village itself is very small with only a pub but the surrounding countryside is beautiful and it is quite and easy drive into the nearest towns.

If you are looking for a quite break then this place is perfect.

"A perfect break"

A lovely cottage, well appointed and decorated, and in a fantastic location. Timble is peaceful village and a great place from which to explore. We loved our walks around the immediate surrounding valleys, and exploring nearby villages. Dawn and Barry were very welcoming, friendly and helpful as hosts.

All in all, a wonderful holiday, thoroughly recommended.

"Excellent cottage in a lovely peaceful location"

This was our first trip away with our 10 week old daughter, and the owners (Dawn & Barry) made us feel very welcome.

The cottage is in lovely location within the owners courtyard, and has been fitted out to a high standard with no expense spared.

Some cottages/rental properties we have stayed in before, have had very little thought to decoration. This is definitely not the case here, and it has a very homely feel. It is also the first time we've not felt the need to have a clean round first, the property was immaculate.

The location is superb, set in a quiet village with views over the Dales, and is an excellent central base for visiting the surroundings areas (Bolton Abbey, Skipton, Harrogate, Otley & Ilkley etc.).

Dawn kindly offered us late check-out (with-out being asked), which allowed us to take our time getting our daughter (and ourselves) up and ready on departure.

We would definitely recommend a visit here, and would love to call back should we get the chance.

Many thanks again.

"Superb Cottage"

Couldn't fault the cottage, it was lovely. Everything you could wish for.
We had an excellent stay. Dawn and Barry, the owners, were so good.
Thoroughly recommend Dawn's cooking! Only drawback, as far as we were concerned, is that the bed is a double and we are so used to a king size, but we managed. Highly recommend it..

"Perfect!"

Just got back from a lovely holiday at The Courtyard in Timble. The property is finished to a very high standard and yet still manages to feel homely. The attention to detail on the colour schemes, accessories and furniture are superb. Loved the wine chiller! Within walking distance there is the Timble Inn but the nearest shop is a few miles away. We had a lovely day at Bolton Abbey which I can highly recommend. Dawn was a wonderful host, especially when one of the main roads got closed and we needed an alternative route! Whilst The Courtyard doesn't have the views of their other property I would thoroughly recommend it and hope to visit again in the near future.
