Gwelfor is a recently renovated traditional Welsh Stone Cottage over 200 years old with an abundance of Welsh Charm. With sea view, private parking and private garden Gwelfor is a real home from home.

Just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful Harlech Beach; 4 miles of golden sands and clean safe seas with a backdrop of sand dunes. Dog friendly beach areas all year round.

20 minutes walk from Harlech Castle, Gwelfor is close enough to enjoy the local attractions, while retaining the peace and tranquillity of village life.

Gwelfor is a traditional 3 bedroom Detached Stone Cottages set in Snowdonia National Park and ha all the modern comforts of home with outstanding Views of Shell Island and beyond.

The cottage has three bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size bed and sea view. Fully tiled bathroom with quadrant monsoon shower. Lounge dining room with log burner, TV, dvd player. Modern fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, washer/ dryer and breakfast bar. Ground floor toilet / washroom. Full oil central heating. Travel cot and high chair available.

Located in the quiet village of Llanfair, Harlech, with Portmadog, Barmouth, Snowdon and surrounding areas easily accessible.

Gwelfor offers Self catering accomodation for up to 5 guests. The cottage has private off road parking for one vehicle. Well behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement, please contact us before booking.

The North Wales region

Located within the Snowdonia National Park and on the beautiful Cardigan Bay, this village is a fantastic holiday location at any time of the year.

Llanfair is an ideal base for scenic walks in the surrounding countryside, lying between the foothills of the Rhinog Mountains and Harlech's golden beach, providing beautiful views over Shell Island and the bay. Llanfair has its own mild climate due to its positioning, and a good selection of wildlife and birds.

The local town of Harlech, just 20 minutes walk from the cottage is and is a World Heritage Site with its majestic 13th Century castle. For golfers the famous Royal St. David's course is 5 minutes drive. Harlech has a variety of amenities, with restaurants, tea rooms ,tourist centre and the home made ice cream shop is well worth a visit.

Portmerion, Ffestiniog Railway, Porthmadog, and Barmouth are a short drive away, or can easily be reached by the local costal train with the local station just 10 minutes walk from the cottage for those not wanting to drive.

"All we wanted from a Welsh holiday cottage."
