Set between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is in a magnificent position. Dominated by its majestic 13th Century castle – regarded as one of the most impressive built by Edward I in north Wales – this town has been named a World Heritage site. Popular with golfers as well as history enthusiasts, Harlech boasts the famous Royal St. David's course. The town also has a beautiful golden beach that is ideal for summer fun with the family or long walks along the coast. For those who prefer shopping to sand, Harlech offers a wide variety of quality retailers and good restaurants. Snowdonia National Park and Cardigan Bay are within easy reach and provide great walking and cycling trails through beautiful countryside and along the breathtaking coastline.
