The Northern France / Nord-Pas-de-Calais region

Hardelot is situated in the regional nature park "cote d'Opale" on the coast between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Le Touquet-Paris Plage. There is plenty to see in Northern France, with charming fishing villages where you can sample some of the fresh catch at one of the great local restaurants, as well as larger cities such as Paris and Lille nearby.

Hardelot Plage area

Hardelot is a quiet very family oriented seaside resort with long sandy beaches, a good selection of restaurants and very easy to reach from Calais or Boulogne. Hardelot is recognised as a 'KID Station'. A KID Station is a holiday resort that provides particularly good facilities for children, and has taken care to ensure their safety. Hardelot is set in perfect surroundings, in the heart of the Regional Nature Park. Hardelot has all the charm of secluded seaside villas surrounded by pine trees and golf courses. Many activities are available in the resort such as are Horse Riding (Hardelot Equistrian Centre with an international calendar of show-jumping events), Sand Yachting (17 kms of sandy beach), Tennis, Kayaks, Sailing, Tandem Cycle Hire, Children's Beach Clubs (July/August), Forest Walks.

By Eurotunel:
35 mins to Calais from Folkestone then take motorway A16 to junction 27 Hardelot (about 40 mins).

Seafrance, P&O, Hoverspeed Dover to Calais
Speedferries.com Dover to Boulogne then 15 minute drive south N1 direction Paris to roundabout at Pont de Briques then D235 direction Condette and Hardelot Plage.
